I've never been much of a fan of multiplayer gaming. I always start out strong in games like Halo and Call of Duty, but before two days have passed I'm getting my ass handed to me by the twelve year old racists of the world. Thankfully Madden NFL 11 is offering users a mode that keeps players out of the bug-searching fields of youthful gamers and instead gives them the option to join up on a team of three humans and take on a team that's either controlled by the CPU or by up to three other blokes.
I've written about Online Team Play in the past. I've told you about how the boosts work and how the new camera angle is a vast improvement over last year's travesty. Just recently I had the opportunity to venture down to Redwood Shores and play a few games with a group of journalists who knew their football and that, my friends, is when this mode really shined.
