When you first sign up for Xbox Live they tell you about parental controls. If she was to lazy and idiotic to sign up then thats her problem.

Also its said on the game and in the game "online experience/content is not rated by the ERSB"

Playing it with dudes was the exact opposite of great.

Thats not really true. My son plays Halo 3 (hes 11) and parental controls allow me to set it so the only people he can communicate with (either through messages, headset or video) are people on his friends list.

He can PLAY, but cannot hear or speak to anyone. If he wants to add a friend, I have to input a password. Parental controls (when used correctly) CAN stop your kids from hearing/seeing vulgarity, no matter where they are on XBL.

Parents and gaming just always made me laugh the hardest. I remember back in my days of playing games like counter strike and Day of Defeat. You get into a server where parents are leaders of the clan and own the server and they have a rule of no swearing. Of course we all we drop F bombs like crazy, and get told to watch our mouth, there is children in here playng.

Always made you think, what is worse? Having your son here "fuck" a few times, or having them playing a game where the object is to kill other people, body parts are flying all over the place and blood is coming out of limbs?

I always questioned those parents and asked them "what kind of values are you teaching your kids". And it's true. Parents and gaming are just a stupid combination.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

              "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Thats cool but some parents dont go though all of that. When I was a kid I played what I wanted, watched what I wanted but I knew not to do what I wanted and do what was right and what I was told instead.

Dunno whats with some of these pussy ass parents who blame their kids wigging out on violent games and their peers. You teach your kids right from wrong from the womb and you more than likely will have no problems no matter what they are exposed to....within reason of course. Profanity and tits shouldnt be the root of your kids psychotic fits. A sheltered kid usually has the most problems.
