"Madden Gras" next Monday 8/9 in NOLA!

Didn't realize that EA was having a day long kickoff party in NOLA for the upcoming launch of Madden '11! Galactic is one of my all time favorite bands, I go to the city at least once a year to catch them playing at JazzFest or Mardi Gras. Might have to see if there is a way to be over there next Monday!

Madden Gras was legit as fuck. Galactic brought the funk and I have such a soft spot for bands with brass instruments(I use to play the trumpet). Then we made the walk over to the House of Blues for the Big Boi concert. He shut that shit down. Dude had the whole crowd hyped up big time for almost 2 hours. He played his old songs from his Outkast days and a bunch of his new stuff from Sir Lucious Leftfoot. I'm still hyped up as shit from that show.

Glad you had a good time KNUBB! Galactic is my favorite NOLA based band. Stanton can play the drums like nobody else and even though Houseman isn't with them these days they still do pretty good with guest vocalists like Cyril Neville or Sister Teedy. No doubt the Big Boi show was going to be a good one. Hate I missed it!!

I don't mean to get off topic but wtf happened to Andre? That dude use to kill it on the old Outkast albums and now his stuff is just fluffy bullshit. Big Boi is still laying it down like the old days, although SpeakerBoxx was pretty weak.
