Share the demo and get the Ultimate Team Pack?

Does anyone know what the hell this is?

I received an e-mail basically asking me to "share" the info about the demo. When you click on the link it takes you to Facebook which you then post some generic status encouraging people to try the demo. But how do you get your free shit?

Are you asking what Madden Ultimate Team is? It's like a card collecting add on to Madden where you build your ultimate team using classic and current players, actually pretty fun.

A Facebook one I have not seen yet, but the in demo share with your friends gets you the Jets stadium. I believe that they e-mail you the redeem code.

Interesting. So does that have anything to do with the preorder "coins" you get from Gamestop?

From what I seen on Madden 10, the system works like this:

-You "buy" a pack of cards to start out with.

Each card represents every position needed to field a team, a player to fill said position (you start with shitty players), a home stadium to play in (1 of the 32 in the NFL... no custom stadiums), a coach and a home/away uniform set for your players to play games in (no custom uniforms).

-You earn "coins" by playing against the CPU or other players online.

-You can trade in your "coins" to buy better player cards.

-You can trade your previously bought cards with other players.

-You can also spend real money from your wallet to buy better players as well (think of those PSN cards that you buy so you can rent/buy shit from the PSN store... the money comes from there).

-You can also place cards up for online "auctions" where you can put up "coins" or real money so you can get specific cards you want for your team.

Twigg quick breakdown... the MUT (Madden Ultimate Team) was an add on that was available for d/l late in the Madden season. I had a lot of fun with it personally trying to put together my personal team of favorite players, past and present. You start out with bad players and earn coins thru games or they can be purchased, you use those coins in the Auction House on players or on packs of cards, with different tiers holding different levels of players.

the 20,000 coin bonus from gamestop can be used to buy packs, to bid on a card, or in the new EA scouting reports online. Basically it will show you a quick breakdown of your opponents most used plays.

That explains why I don't remember it because I think I traded the game in around March or so.

LOL. Well, I don't know then. I honestly don't think I played it after the actual NFL season ended (probably earlier) and as soon as Gamestop offered the $40 traded towards 11 I got rid of it.
