I've got a feeling I'll pick this game up randomly at some point. I'm not expecting very much so I wonder if that will change how I feel about it. As long as franchise mode is playable than I'll probably get it.

Its alright. I havent played that much, but when i did play it was solid. Not overly impressive though. Feels like madden 10.5. Gameplay wise, it isnt a huge leap from madden 10

All-Pro. It would be much appreciated.

I actually tried the line adjustments thing and I don't remember them working either. I remember trying everything people told me and nothing ever seemed to work.

Also, I think someone else in this thread said the 360 version is "smooth as butter" while the ps3 version has hiccups. Yet in the Game Trailers video which uses the 360 version I saw the game stutter/hiccup a few times.

What about the Madden moments? I see they are back but do they still use current players? I always thought that was fucking retarded playing a moment from 1990 or something but using the current teams rosters.

It may have been me that said the game on 360 played smooth as butter. We had two systems set up, one PS3 and one 360 and me being an avid PS3 fan preferred playing the game on the 360. Everything seemed much more responsive.

I'm pretty sure the madden moments is the same way as always. They have "live" madden moments where they'll update them during the season. Pretty neat but I really rarely use it.
              Thanks for the info.

I actually found my answer about the Madden Moments shortly after posting. Shipwreck from CAG reviewed the game and mentioned that they still use the current rosters. Lame.

I heard the halftime show is gone...if you want to call it a show. I'm surprised they didn't build on it (add audio) and just took it out. I expect it back next year as a bullet point. What does it have (if anything) now....just the list of options like in NCAA FB 11?

I'm not surprised by that, it was the same thing in Madden 10.
EA Sports games simply play and look better on the 360 because that's the console they're designed on.

I think it had to do with the console launches, actually.
They got their hands on a 360 long before a PS3 ... and the PS3 is more difficult to program for.
I think it's more a question of resources, than laziness.

I hear that. But it always make more sense to create a game first on the more powerful console and then port the game to the other one. Not the other way around.

I think a case could be made for either console being more "powerful".
Apparently, the graphics chip on the 360 is superior to the PS3's, while the CPU edge obviously goes to the PS3.
Disc space obviously goes to the PS3 by a wide margin, but I laugh at all those Tiger Woods Golf fans whole believe EA would put all those DLC courses in the game if it was programmed on the PS3 first. EA is likely thrilled they face the disc space dilemma on the 360 where TW is concerned. Ch-ching.

Not true. There aren't any games on the 360 that can sniff the graphical prowess of games like Uncharted 2 or God of War 3. But then again those are games that are developed by companies that are well acclimated to the PS3 architecture and aren't lazy fucks like Tiburon.

I made a point to correct myslef by specifying Tiburon because it's not just EA. The PS3 was the lead console for Burnout Paradise because again, Criterion isn't lazy. The PS3 is also the lead SKU with their upcoming Need For Speed game.

                              After one online game:

I see what people mean when they say it feels like the backs have no weight. Bum ass Jamal Charles was herky jerky on my ass.

The lag online is gonna kill the kicking meter. FG's outside of 30-35 yards will be a roll of the dice if they dont fix that shit. No way you can consistantly make FG's with the hiccups on the meter.

                              Arrelious Benn is a beast.

                              I suck.

After one game, Lions vs Bears at Chicago in the snow...

Seeing Olsen slip in the snow and his icon disappear
                                Team specific chants
Audio seems pretty good so far
                                Stafford's realistically innacurate
Players on sideline bundled up in big coats
Cutler looks like fucking Cutler with his helmet up on the sideline
                                Like the new tackling animations
                                Stadium music very realistic
Hester did his hand gesture after a TD
Tillman had two great picks that looked like they would've happened IRL

                                Dislikes:

1st play tried a screen pass and got sacked immediately
Clear PI on my 2nd play and no call
The CPU seems to run the ball too well (unreal blocking)
Still can't run the fucking ball
PA and screen passes seem pointless
Just like previous years when my backup RB comes in my O-line makes holes
PastaPadre was right, you may as well spot kickoffs at the 20 yd line
Way too many serious injuries; Urlacher broke his collar bone (although seeing the John Deere cart was pretty cool)
