Anyone having connection issues?

My connection is great when I can actually play. Thing is I've had problems connecting to people on my friends list. 2 out of the 3 single player matches have done this. QuietStorm last night and TimsGiants just now. I've been able to play NWSaint with no issue twice and was connected with Mr Bill and Dawgs last night in team play, so IDK WTF is going on. :headache:

Any ideas or same issues?

Hackett I have the same thing going on. When I invite them it never shows them showing up on the pick a team screen. When they invite me it goes to the choose a team page and it has them staying as the saints and they never move.... And it's starting to piss me off too.

I'm getting that same stuff,too thats why i couldn't play my tourney game today..

Had a lot of them, then Virix helped me open my port, been somewhat smooth since then. still have a few here and there

Hmmm..... I wonder if this could be the problem at hand? I have no idea in how to "open my port" though. Is there anyone that is willing to share on that?

Rudi what ports did you have open? I tried opening most and still didn't work

This might help you guys. Put your PS3 in a DMZ and you won't have to worry about opening ports and all that stuff. I have this set on my PS3 and I never have any problems:

Well, I did all of that as well as set my S3 up as wireless. Still have a NAT 3 though. Any ideas how to switch over to NAT 2?

realistically;
if at all possible; upgrade your ISP service..........
and if you can afford and/or is available in your area, get Verizon FioS.....
even their lowest package is far superior to comcast, cablevision, coxnet, etc......

opening those ports doest really help that much either if the person you are playing has crappy ISP.....
its like putting a band aid on a wound that needs 35 stitches......

i really dont think its "all" EA........(or even ISPs for that matter)
i play online with me 360 as well and dont see nearly as much Yellow/Orange/Red Pingers........

XBL side for Madden (specifically) runs very smooth online.....not too mention the graphic animation is vibrant (no homo).....
