Maynard - just for your info (Gameflow)

Maynard was curious about this, I thought a few others might be.

    55 minute game
15 minute quarters, 25 second runoff

    Philadelphia at Pittsburgh

I was down 23-0 and beat the Steelers 27-23.
    Go figure.

I will try the same game, this time at the Linc, with the same teams without Gameflow ... to let you know.

Maynard wanted to know how long playing a game using "Gameflow" took, as opposed to calling your own plays.
It's supposed to cut game time in half.
From my experience, it feels like about 20%.
I want to play the same game without Gameflow, to see exactly how much longer it is.

One thing I really like about Madden 11 - the CPU plays exactly like the real-life Steelers and other teams.
It's kind of eerie how good they've gotten this.

Id imagine that the gameflow cuts the time significantly. You posted a 15 min game w/ GF took 55 mins while the 7 min qtr games I play w/o a run off takes about 45-55 mins so cutting the game in half is about right.

As far as them getting it right it dont imagine it would be that hard if they actually broke down game film like they claim. Plug is down, distance and the probability of certain plays and you have gameflow.

            That's 15-minute quarters with a 25-second runoff.
I suspect that's about 8 minute quarters without the runoff (maybe 9).

thanks dave. 55 mins is pretty good for a 15 min Q game. post any other results you get

you still enjoying the gameflow? What about the games vs the cpu? I am about sick of ncaa now because AA is to easy and heisman (even though i can win) is just too cheesy feeling

if i remember, madden uses the custom slider setup where level doesnt really apply....or maybe i am remembering that wrong.

There are times I love the Gameflow and times I want to drop it off a tall building.
Of course, the same could be said for Andy Reid's playcalling, so I guess it's pretty damned accurate.

I'd really like to run the ball more, but that ain't the Andy Reid way.

I used the Niners for a couple of games with Gameflow and found it using Mike Martz's offence ... so that needs adjustment.

I for one like Gameflow. I mean, if you don't like the plays you can change them. I only got rid of one, I think its set fairly well actually.

I can honestly say that for the first time since 2005 PC, I am really liking the game.
