Great news, online games will be on Simulation Gamestyle. This info was confirmed by Beluba, one of 2k's game designers.

If you forgot what the Sim Gamestyle is, here it is.

Simulation: Real life stats. This is my game style of choice. With 12-min. quarters, you will easily see NBA averages across your stat lines. Don’t expect anything easy in the paint, you’ll have to work a lot harder and execute good basketball strategy to be successful in Sim.

Hopefully it isn't 12 qtrs though.

Yeah I heard the lobbies aren't coming back as well. I'm fine with that, but atleast show my opponents record/DNF % (like Madden pretty much) for random ranked games.
