i had her...she is one of the good one. i picked up brand new copy for the 360 today. i still have to finish my full renegade adept. i want to do a full renegade thru ME1 then carry it over to ME2 as full renegade
i had to catch up on the story. read thru all the mission history. thinking back about all those missions....fucking deep game. my 1st save was 54 hours. the next was 32 and this 3rd one towards the ending is at 30. but i got the shadow broker and some other dlc to complete.
if anyone picks up a used copy for 360 i have a code for the cerberus net. stupid not to buy it new though since its just $20Comment

Play the default Soldier class to get access to all the gun classes in the game (pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle and a heavy weapon of your choosing).
As you level up, you can get bullets that freeze enemies, burn them alive, destroy robots and cause concussive blasts that fuck up anyone in the game.
Also, as a HEAVY SPOILER...
If you pick up Kasumi early on in the game at the Citadel and finish her Loyalty mission, you can get access to her Flashbang Grenade.
This is basically another Concussion Bullet that you throw at enemies and fuck them up with.
From there, go to your Research Station in the lab you set up for Mordin after you get him from Omega.
Look for something called "Advanced Training/Techniques."
This allows you to steal an ability from one of your crewmates and use it as your own.
If you did it right, you'll gain the Concussion Grenade to use for yourself and have an edge against regular mooks or Enemy Engineers.
Those "spells" you hate so much translate to ammo types that will save your ass later on when you have 200 Ton Metal Monsters barreling down on you.
As for not wanting to talk, you can skip dialogue by hitting the square button or use the Paragon/Renegade interrupts when prompted on the screen.Comment

but the thing is that u will still get to an assault rifle and pistol and SMG and specialty big gun when being an adept....and im sure you use all these with other classes too except a soldier might swap a sniper rifle in place of something else....shit like that
plus, every class has powers...they all do. they just have different types of powers. you have to decide what kind of guy u want to be and what powers to use.
characters are named in this link to the powers...
The abilities used in combat in Mass Effect 2 are called powers. Powers can be utilized by the player, NPC squad members, and enemies. Powers in Mass Effect 2 are divided into four categories: biotic, combat, tech, and newly introduced ammo powers that can modify weapon damage. The category a power belongs to will determine which upgrades apply to it. In Mass Effect 2, many powers now do large amounts of damage and can be used as an ammo-saving alternative to weapons for defeating enemies even o
renegade is about how your develop your personality. there are paragon (good) and renegade (evil) choices in every conversation you have. how you play will determine how things play out with everything you do in this game.
here are the 6 different classes
Adept - Biotic Specialist
Soldier - Combat Specialist
Engineer - Tech Specialist
Vanguard - Biotic / Combat
Sentinel - Tech / Biotic
Infiltrator - Tech / Combat
one thing that gets missed alot in this game is how tactical you can be with your team. it doesnt have the depth of a ghost recon or R6 Vegas....but you still get some tactical moves to play withComment

im trying to go back and play thru ME1. i cant do it. After playing 2 i am unable to get into 1 again. playing as an adept in ME1 sucks. i did a soldier the first time and it was fun. But the game feels like a pain in the ass now because its hard to deal with all its flaws since all of those flaws are gone in ME2.
instead of enjoying it for how great it is, i am side tracked by how much of a pain it isComment

So... the Firewalker DLC may have fucked up my ME2 save.
Got to the mission where you pilot the Hammerhead to collect the Prothean data on the lava planet...
Now I see is black screen punctuated by black or blue dots.
I'm going to be pissed if I have to start over.
EDIT: Now I see that the game must have glitched... had to reboot the game though to get it working right.
And erase all the time I put in on the Hammerhead missions altogether.Comment

I thought it was a pretty eerie and surreal moment that helped attach me emotionally to the story, which is what Bioware likes to do in their games.Comment

That wasn't really the point of that mission. It was supposed to be a dramatic moment for those who had played the first one, cause you would have spent hours on that ship that's now scattered across that planet.
