I would play/tryout. Was on a team with a few friends last year and mostly played defense...and yes I play defense how it is suppose to be played not how most of the people in quick games play.

Don't mean shit if you can't play. Not being a dick, but you have 4 others besdes krebs on the ice with you. If you're shit, you're taking them down with you. We've had it before where a "friend of a friend" has joined the team, only to end up being a terrible waste of time. "The Brick Wall" if anyone from old MM Magnums comes to mind. Terrible goalie, but had to let him play since he was "tight" with someone.
