New My Player info

In this year's My Player mode, the game doesn’t end after the final buzzer. In NBA 2K11 you gotta take the podium for your own post-game press conferences. But watch what you say, your answers can earn you admiration or get you run out of town. Will you claim all the glory or will you praise your coaches?

There gonna be releasing new My Player info all through out this week. Let's hope the rest is better than "Press Conferences".

I hope they make playing time realistic. I hate when my player is rated 10 points lower than the nearest person on my team and I average 25 minutes a game

Yup, My Player had a bunch of problems last year. Hopefully they fixed 'em.

You can be rated 42, the last guy to make the roster yet you play 30 minutes a game. It's not only unrealistic but it's boring because if your not earning/working for your playing time then your just going through the motions. Last year the only thing you could make progress in was skill points. Last year you could be the best player in the world and not run plays, hog the ball, never pass ect.

As long as you individually made plays you were rewarded, like purposely playing bad Defense to cherry pick for an easy dunk. Or calling for the ball every time was rewarded as long as you scored.

Nice add on but I think it would have been better if they allowed the user to upload the shoes. Keep track of what shoes have the most downloads and rating.

Any word on team up this year? Please tell me they aren't integrating My Player in team up again. That was just awful.

Honestly that shoe thing is just fucking stupid, it's not a feature it's the same as last year except you get to name the shoe. Thats the only difference is the ability to name the shoe. You can't call that a feature, it's an option just like a headband is an option in Create A Player but it is not a fucking feature and if thats one of there selling points then the expectations I had for this game, mainly the MY PLAYER improvements. Just went down the toilet.
