People have been waiting for Duke Nukem Forever for…a long time. The wait will finally be over this June when the game hits store shelves. While the single-player game will offer a substantial adventure with several new features, the multiplayer will, in many ways, pay tribute to the old-school, twitchy, sci-fi deathmatch games of yesteryear. The game will have four different multiplayer modes: Dukematch (free-for-all deathmatch), Team Dukematch (team-based deathmatch), Hail to the King (a king-of-the-hill mode with randomly spawning control points), and Capture the Babe (the game's highly talked-up take on capture the flag, which we'll get to later). We got our hands on the game's multiplayer and have much to report.

I received my email the other day asking me to log on to their site to confirm which version of the demo I want. I'm guessing it goes live next week.

The 360 version seems to be a no brainer consider who the hell knows when PSN will be back up. Plus if/when I get the game it will be he 360 version.

I think it's just early but I could be wrong. It may be exclusive considering that assuming the demo does come out next week that means that it's coming out only a few weeks prior to the actual game release. But they might be planning a demo for everyone maybe a week before release or do one of those demos that releases the day of the retail release.

It looks like people that have pre-orders and bought Borderlands GotY get "first access" so we just get it a bit earlier.

Alright so first thoughts is the loading times take forever. I just finished the first level (was just a boss) and not gonna lie, I laughed quite a few times. The comedy factor is definitely in full effect. Controls seem pretty simple too which is good.

I just typed all that and the second level is still loading...lol.

Sometimes I am amazed at load times. Some developers, Sony Santa Monica for God of War, get it right where the load time is factored into the game. Other times, like it appears here, it is just terrible.

I guess old habits die hard for some developers.
