Well, color me unimpressed. Bland environments. Horrible textures. Long load times.

I'll pick it up when it's $20 hut for the achievements and nostalgia factor.

Its been in development for years.......of course the critics would tear it apart. If the game were perfect, it would probably only score a 7.5 or 8 on most review systems.

GameInformer said (and its been confirmed by a friend of mine who has played through most of it already) that the game picks up about halfway through, which could be where Gearbox takes over development. Why wouldn't they just scrub the game and start from scratch if thats the case? Shoot, don't even call it Duke Nukem Forever, start something else.

the critics are hammering the hell out of this. not looking good. duke's pr dept "the redner group is gonna punish sites that run negative reviews i saw a few tweets yesterday. if the game sucks, it sucks.

no not really. i just watched the giantbomb video review. that game looks horrible. long load times. unimpressive levels. i wouldnt play it if they gave it to me free.

I was pretty skeptical the whole time. When they delayed it again by a month the last time you had to know something was up.

I really feel bad for anyone that ran out and bought this day 1. I manged to coax a couple buddies into not getting it day 1 and I'm sure they're thanking me now.

Most are "grading" it according to when it was released not when it should have come out. Giantbomb (one of them mentioned) said it's not good but should be played by those who have waited but it's horrible that they made this a $60 game.

I'm not saying grade it for coming out five years ago, I'm saying that people are going to tear it apart because of the amount of years its been in development. Hence why I said that the game could be perfect but likely only get a 7.5 or 8.0.

I'll play it because I've been waiting, but I'm certainly not going to get it right now.
