I've been on the 360 now for years and I've never had custom rosters and I haven't really missed them from my PC days.

So I am starting to get really sick of offline powerplays. Every time I'm on the PK it is basically a for sure goal for the computer. Same things as well, either the same shot from the point, or a snipe from the right dot. Really tired of dominating the cpu only to have my game ruined due to this powerplay shit. All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

I have been tweaking my sliders recently, as I am finding the CPU is just stick handling through everything and there is nothing to stop it. So I put that down, plus put some of my stuff up. I was worried that if I got to good at these settings, I wouldn't have anywhere to go since I am playing superstar, but good thing is, with sliders you can always just tilt everything up. Once I find my solid mix I'll post my sliders here. But I think most people play on All-Star. Least the chise's I've read have. All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

Well the superstar experiment is over for me. I am going to all star with heavy sliders. Way to much stupid shit happening on that mode. Just to give you an idea, was playing my chise and was winning 2-0 after one. Second period, they score three. I tie it up in the third, and I get a PP. For some reason there player is faster then me, beats my guy to the puck, comes out in front of my net, does this behind the back shot and scores. I tie the game up with 33 seconds. I send my brother a message that I bet I don't win this game and I lose in regulation. With 7 seconds to go, my goalie has the puck, I think "ok faceoff, OT". Nope, the comp kept jaming at it, the puck comes lose in front of my goalie, they pick it up and roof it. Sorry, I am not having games like that. I have taken my share of defeats in my chise, but not like that. That's not sim at all.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

I need to find sliders bad. CPU poke checking is ridiculous. They poke check me once the puck is off my stick and they are on a rush. I poke check them once, nothing, twice, nothing, three times, penalty for tripping. Same with the stick lift. They stick lift me once they have the puck. I stick lift them once, they keep going, twice, they keep going, three times, penalty for high sticking/slashing.

There is a setting in there for poke checking. On superstar I had to turn mine up because it was not doing anything. I didn't turn it up much, maybe 1 or 2 clicks, but it worked. You also should turn down CPU puck control as that will help as well. I would say do two clicks between the two. So one click to increase poke check and one to decrease cpu puck control. I have heavy sliders for superstar if people want them. I still get gay goals by the cpu, but oh well. I've got it to the point where my stats are sim, and my games are the way they should be.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

I found some decent sliders that produce good score lines but my shots are ridiculous compared to the CPUs. I'm half way through the 2nd period and I have 32 shots to their 8 but the score is 3-2.

Another thing as well is, you have to have the mind frame of playing sim style. I do a lot of dump and chase because well a) it works for my team of fast tough guys, and b) it is what actually happens. I don't do it every time, but I also don't just continue to walk the puck in. This could be simply solved I think by putting up the cpu AI. Option is like learning your plays. Not sure off hand what it is called. All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

6-0 in our last six with my EASHL team, usually if we win 2 in a row we stop because we always get creamed in the third game, but last night we kept going and won all 4 we played.Comment

I am honestly surprised this year about how much I don't play online. I load up NHL and I just hit my franchise right away. I guess just years of online play has lost its touch. I'll never play as much as some of these guys do online, and I won't cheat like they do, so I'll never been top 100, nor do I care to. Rather just play chise games and post it.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

What is this bullshit of the computer pulling my goalie for me? I hate pulling my goalie because it's just an easy way for the computer to score again. I fought the game to put my goalie in the whole final minute of the period. I see it say pulling goalie and I'm like no, so I put him back in and split second later it says pulling goalie again.
