Yea man. Thel lag takes a lot out of our games. Hook that shit up directly to the modem with a cat5 cable and make sure you/nobody is downloading anything while you are playing.

try going hardwire connection - even you have to run a 25' - 50', it might be worth it......

some games are fine via wireless but certainly not Madden...

Don't use wireless. Also run a virus scan on your computer(s), viruses can cause major slowdown on internet connections.

If you're hard-wired, viruses have zero impact on your connection between the modem and the ps3.

I have a 25-ft. ethernet cable for gaming. One for my 360, the other for the ps3. When I game I simply run the cable across the floor to the modem. When I'm done gaming, I hide the cable behind the TV until next time.

Na, I didn't do anything. I just unplug my router and cable modem. I didn't unplug both of those in months. So now it seems like it running a little better now. I play mobb and houtz. It ran a little better than usually.

Except for when you tried to kick that 24 yard FG that you choked on.
