if you can hook up your ps3 via ethernet it will be the fastest. also look at your connection strength

try going hardwire connection - even you have to run a 25' - 50', it might be worth it......
some games are fine via wireless but certainly not Madden...3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complainingComment

Don't use wireless. Also run a virus scan on your computer(s), viruses can cause major slowdown on internet connections.Comment

If you're hard-wired, viruses have zero impact on your connection between the modem and the ps3.
I have a 25-ft. ethernet cable for gaming. One for my 360, the other for the ps3. When I game I simply run the cable across the floor to the modem. When I'm done gaming, I hide the cable behind the TV until next time.My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

Originally posted by IzzyIs13Na, I didn't do anything. I just unplug my router and cable modem. I didn't unplug both of those in months. So now it seems like it running a little better now. I play mobb and houtz. It ran a little better than usually.Comment
