Record wise, it's the worst I've ever been, but I have to say I enjoy playing this game. Yes, defense, kick meter and broken tackles are frustrating as hell, but I think once the next patch comes out fixing some gameplay and lag issues, it will be perfect.

It's a shame the activity isn't quite there cause I'd like to run a few tournaments. Maybe I'll take a shot at one after the patch drops.

I agree 100%. Frustration is definitely higher this year for the reasons you stated, but I am still having fun with thegame.

i am glad i made my came outta retirement myself. i didnt think i would be this enthusiastic for this long.

* defense is not so bad, i am getting into a comfort zone i guess
* i am also more comfortable with the kick meter now
* as far as the broken tackles, the one that are frustrating are the busted 5, 6, 14 tackles........i can see 1 maybe 2 but some are just amazingly juiced up.
* lag hasnt been an issue as much since FioS

Yeah, the defense isn't that bad. It's the broken tackles that make it so damn difficult at times. Once the patch cuts those down, everyone's defense will improve. The lag hasn't been a major issue for me either, just on the kicking meter mostly. I can't wait to see how the game plays after this patch drops.

best madden yet IMO. playing someone without lag makes a huge difference.

play izzy, you cant even play the game right, it stutters every 5th second so if your buttons dont get pressed sometimes its stupid.

play someone like herm who has no connection issues and its a very fun game.

Yeah, when I play Humble and BB, the game is smooth as hell and makes it a lot more enjoyable. Nothing worse than lag messing up your timing.

Red, I fixed my connection. I just play mobb and BB. Just a little bit of lag compare to before. That why my defense has been much better than before.

I guess me dropping "only" 36 is an improvement for you....bum!

I notice how really good we are. I'm starting to play the rank games now. Right now i'm 13-2. Really 13-1 because I let my brother play a game for me and he lost 63-49 with the vikings. Unless he sucks or the vikings have no defense. Because lately I love the way the giants play defense. I always love the game. I just couldn't play defense. But lately now the game gotten really good to me.

But back to the level we are at vsn. You could play ranked games vs you skill level. So basically every game you playing vs a better opponent. Playing vs Mobb, BB, Zeus, QS, Windy. You could only appreciated how talented these guys are when you playing vs the east room. East room got nothing on us.

I'm loving the game even tho I get mad as hell when NWsaint beats me...lol....I've still have not held anyone under 15 points. We always complain about madden sucks and what they should and should not do...its good to see peeps enjoying the game and not quiting on it. I like the kicking meter ....every kick is not guaranteed! the kickoff return needs to be tweet a bit..its insane to run back 2 kickoffs in the same qtr....

Im glad the game is starting to grow on y'all. I liked the game since the moment I first played it. I pride myself on playing great defense and that hasn't happen yet but I will figure it out soon, that is the only thing that is bugging me.

You just can't.

My best D performance came last week, where I annihilated the Browns. He had less than 200 yds in O and I had 8 INT's....but that kills it for me.

I don't want a "good defensive game" to be cause I picked off a shitload of passes. I want to hit hard, stop em on 3rd down, that kind of D..... REAL D.

Game just doesn't have it right. Offensive players are too quick to block and defensive players are too slow to react which makes it too wide open for my liking.

Much improved but still got miles to go IMO.
