Blues, (not that I saw anything wrong in our game) I just thought it was funny how you have commented twice now about checking away from the puck, yet it happened a handful of times in our game - including a penalty which set up the GWG on the PP for me.


As for the repetitious offence, don't do it. Personally if someone wants to try the same things over and over against me, I'll shut them down without allowing much damage from it....but it doesn't make it cool. That shit is for the lame online matches you can play, leagues are for players who want to avoid that shit.

When I see team stats that show one guy with nothing but assists, and his linemates with nothing but goals....it leads me to believe that that team is very one dimensional. There's other stats I can look into to futher determine if a team is trying only one thing repeadedly - so this is fair warning to everyone - I will speak to you once if I believe you aren't playing legit and won't hesitate to remove you if I must.

i wouldnt say any of you guys outplayed me, i just dont chase and allow you to take bad shots, hence the feeling of dominance, the shots i took were much higher probability shots

dont even call that cheese, working the puck around and making a pass to the guy in the slot is not cheese. and i dont force that play everytime. if something is open and its a legitmate scoring opportunity im going to take it. im not gonna not shoot because someone might call it cheese.

eh? don't worry about me friend. I'm on my box a fair bit, I just can't seem to catch guys online much. Synergy and I froze upon loading, when I restarted my box he was gone...so meh.

I set a deadline for 5 GP by Monday and I'm at 6GP. so there. :P


I can tell you right know Krebs isn't a cheap player. This is his 3rd season of being a part of my hockey leagues and he's not cheap, he's simply a good player. Doing the same play every single rush is one thing, but scoring via one-timer is completely legit. You need to work on your defensive game if you are giving up open looks in your own slot, that is nobody's fault but your own IMO (Well and EA's crappy AI, but hey...we all have to deal with that )





Nice to see a good amount of games played!


As of Monday the following teams are being dropped unless they get active in a hurry

-Atlanta (Posted 2 weeks after we started, yet never joined the online league)
-Detroit (Played 1 game and never again)
-Buffalo (Played 2 games and now runs around pressing B in GoW2 all the time)
-Tampa Bay (Played twice and haven't heard from him since)

Columbus (3GP) has been active on the forum so I will cut him some slack for now.


I may have to move over a team from the West to the East to balance things out, I'll keep you guys posted on Monday as to what's gonna happen.


Stealth/Mitt - Check that thread regarding your disconnected game, I need to understand what you guys did in more detail.

Sorry man, you are a bit too late to the party. I'm trying to cut dead weight and move this thing towards the end of the season.

Check back in a few weeks (probably late December, Early January) and we'll be starting up the 2nd season.

KG, I suggest cut Lightning,Sabers, and Red Wings and put the Blue Jackets in the East. Adn i guess 4 teams make the playoff, or only 3 teams and make the first place team have a bye.
