Just put the .jar file in your C:\Users\{YOUR USER NAME}\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin or %appdata%/.minecraft/bin folder and overwrite the old one.
EDIT: The default lighting looks much better. Torches and lava flicker, for instance. I did notice that my chests weren't appearing properly.
I tried to create a new world, and ended up with Waterworld. Hardly any land to be found.Comment

I down loaded this game on 360 because my daughter was bugging me for it. I typically don't play games like this but she wanted me to play it with her so I gave it ago. Basically I'm wondering if any of you guys know any good detoxes or support groups because I'm addicted as fuck to this stupid game, its worse than skyrim addiction. Every supposed hour of game play turns into a 3-5 hour session, its crazy
