Dzeko is an 84 up top, but if you want to move him to wing to get Mario in there they both are an 81.

In the 4-3-2-1, I roll with Yaya and DeJong (or Barry) at CDM, with Silva-Tevez-Dzeko left to right, and Mario up top. Sometimes I'll throw Milner in instead and push Dzeko up front and bring Mario off the bench. He's devastating when you bring him on late in the game because he just runs past tired defenders. I score most of my 90th minute heartbreakers with Balotelli.

So how many of you play with all assists turned off. I just turned them all off, I had a few set to semi, and it's like an altogether different game. The game flows much better.

This is a Madden dominated sports gaming site, sim style games I'm sure are out of their realm.

Been playing this online more recently. I just do quick ranked matches and its usually pretty fun. I play as Porto and they are a fun team to use. However I really hate the guys who hold onto the double team button and just sprint around two defenders. I was down 2-0 to a guy doing that but I figured out I could exploit him if my wing quickly passed it back then I hit an in air through ball. Ended up drawing the guy because he refused to go to extra time.

Anyone looking for some sim games? Finally moved into the new apartment and everything is up. I would be down for some all manual games.

Can anyone explain how progression works in FIFA 11? EA went "fixed" it this year and I'm almost 100% sure it's fucked.

A few things I've noted regarding progression:
- I had a ST who was 32 yrs leading the EPL in goals but his overall dropped off 3 points during the season. I understand he's older but his performance says he's still got it.
- I've played some of my young guys who are supposed to be receiving playing time and they're overall rating decreases
- When I loan out players that need playing time, they don't increase in overall
- The amount of players that receive any type of change is low. I've played close to 100 games in manager mode and I can recall only a handful of players who increase/decrease

I would except PSN is still down indefinitely. At this rate, FIFA 12 will be out before PSN is back up.

From what I've read, it's still broken despite it supposedly being fixed. At least now I don't get an email saying so and so has been playing well and that his overall is higher, only to find it's actually dropped. I'm looking at you Connor Wickham.

Tbh, I don't know why they ever changed it. It wasn't really broken in FIFA 10. In fact, I liked how it worked before. Even FIFA 11 for PC still uses the FIFA 10 progression system. Check it out

We haven't heard much about FIFA 12 yet so I can't say it's going to be worth the wait. I'll tell you that FIFA 11 is pretty fun despite it's short comings. You'll get $25 worth of entertainment out of it.

I'm personally looking at picking up PES for 2012.
