Bout to go pick this up (Ps2 version obviously) anyone still play this bad boy? Im excited to play a good football game

Ive still got my Campus Legend from NCAA 07 so once i import it to madden and i play with my guy can i retire and be a coach?

i still have 07... but it's hardly one of the good football games... go back to 05/06

07 was great i still played ps2 madden even though i had a ps3 that year. I tried playing it after i played madden 08 ps3 and i still liked the game but the complete revamping of the controls through me off.

I picked up 08 along time ago for $10 at BB but I would pick '04 if you want high offensive gameplay or '05 for defensive games.

Vision cone started in 06 with McNabb on the cover, the 'year of the quarterback'.

07 on xbox was my fav madden of all time. Julius Jones became the all time leading rusher, Romo the all time TD, Yds, Att, Comp, everything leader, picked up Andre Johnson in free agency and he broke all Rice's records plus i had a 99 spd WR name Denham who would have broke all Johnson's records if i kept playing. MLB who will be the all time sacks and tackles leader. I loved that game so much.

The vision cone wasn't on Madden until 2006, when McNabb was on the cover.

At the time, I hated the vision cone with a passion. Now, I think it was a step in the right direction to creating distance between the good/great quarterbacks. Ratings just don't do enough. I wish I had one of the BC PS3's. I would pick up a copy of '06 immediately.
