I was/am thoroughly impressed with Tiger 10 on the Wii using Motion Plus so I'm not surprised about this.

I can't wait to see when you can scan a real golf club into the Kinect version of Tiger.

I picked up the Sports Champions Pack on Monday. (traded in my Madden for PS3 - just liked NCAA so much better this year)

The first day I probably put in about 3 1/2 hours of gaming addiction on this thing. It was a blast! The first night I spent most of my time playing frisbee golf and archery. I greatly enjoyed both. It also comes with bocce ball, ping pong, beach volleyball, and some shield/sword game (which I doubt I will play). Last night I spent another 2 hours playing the frisbee golf and the beach volleyball.

I have played the Wii, and it is so nice to see some nice graphics for a change. The controls are very good for the games in the pack. Also, each game in the pack has an excellent tutorial section to walk you through the ins and outs of the game. Plus, the first stages of each game is relatively simple to help get you "into" the game. But they will get gradually more difficult.

For instance, in ARCHERY you have to beat TEN opponents to advance through the Bronze level of the game. Each opponent is better than the previous one. Midway through the level you have the opportunity to hear bonus points by playing against the machine and not an opponent and against time. Once finishing the level you show up on your TV screen (by way of your new PS3 photo camera) with a crossbow magically in your hand and the game is ready to take a snapshot of you for your trophy case. Pretty cool. (the same thing happened after I beat the first level of beach volleyball, except in my hand was a volleyball). I did check out my first opponent in Archery at the Silver Level; wow, what a step up!

Another thing I really like about these games is that they are QUICK. Beach volleyball games are only to 5. (But the last round of the level was best of 3.) Ping pong is to 5 or 7. Frisbee golf is only 3 holes. They are not long drawn out ordeals. It is nice.

I also have had in my gaming library for some time High Velocity Bowling on the PS3. It is supposed to be compatible with the MOVE. But at this time the add-on is FREE only if you are a Playstation Plus member. It will be free on the 21st of this month (I believe). I am tempted to pony up the $15 for the 3-month Plus membership just to try it out because I believe it could add some serious FUN-factor to an already good game.

BTW, I am loving the hell out of this. Can't wait to have some friends over and kick some ass. LOL

Any questions please feel free to hit me up.

I will say this. I bought the Move on launch day. I have not played it since. It needs better games right now. Hopefully I can finally try out Heavy Rain with it.

What I want to know. Can I get away with buying one or do I need to buy 2 or 3 and the nav controller?

You don't need the nav controller if you have a regular dual shock. IDK why anyone would buy one of those. It is a good idea to get 2 of the motion controllers tho.

I agree. I don't know why you would want/need the nav controller. I have two motion controllers and have found many games you can play with just the one. But I again agree that having that second controller is a good idea. I especially like the 2nd controller for playing the volleyball game.

Given that its been a couple months, I wanted to see if anyone had any further impressions on Move. Thinking about picking it up for Christmas.

Still think the game selection is a little thin but there are a couple that have caught my eye. Plus they seem to be kicking out PS Move games at a better rate than the Kinect games (Kinects technology also intrigues me but the game selection does absolutely nothing for me).

If anyone has any impressions on the following games or any suggestions on games, it would be appreciated.

The Fight (Got horrendous reviews from IGN and such but everyone I have talked to that has played it loves it and apparently its a hell of a workout)
                  Resident Evil 5
                  Heavy Rain
                  Tiger Woods 11
Brunswick Pro Bowling or High Velocity Bowling (would like a fairly realistic bowling game but not sure which one is better).

So my pops just picked up the move today and all I've played so far is Frisbee Golf cause it's amazing lol. I am curious though as to if there's any games out there yet that are must buy's for the Move? Only 2 other games I have that are compatible with it are Dead Space Extraction (excited to check that out tonight) and NBA 2k11 (not sure how that's gonna work with moving).

Also I saw a few peeps in this thread recommend getting a 2nd motion controller (I wanted to get one just so I could play 2-player with some buddies), but you can use 2 together even in single player? Just curious as to what advantages this gives you, is it just more accurate or what?

I might buy the Move for Tiger Woods 12.
I am reluctant to buy TW 12 on the ps3, since it's going to be so much better on the 360, but I really would like to try motion gaming and think golf is a perfect fit for the technology.

Ive got it. The two games that get the most play from my friends and I are disc golf and Tiger Woods 11. With 12 on the way, I'd probably wait on that but 11 has been a blast.

I've also got Heavy Rain and The Fight. Haven't played either yet. Heavy Rain is apparently an awesome game in and of itself. I grabbed it used after reading that the game is even better with the Move. The Fight got downright awful reviews from the major websites but almost all user reviews are positive. Supposed to be fun and a good workout.

Heavy Rain is substantially better with Move.
