I play occasionally, but internet games are the worst. Not because of an the AI or anything like that, I think the CPU actually does a good job of keeping you on your toes at higher difficulties. But because they take forever! Some people really like to take their time with every turn and if you just had a quick movement turn, you may have to wait 5 minutes.

I'd suggest grabbing some mods if you really want to have fun with the game. There are some amazing things out there from maps the size of the actual globe to patches to make the game far more enjoyable.

Like JH said I play but not online..

Most of the time ill just have the game sitting in my lap while I'm watching something on TV or playing a ps3 game.

Love this game though. Trying to rack up the Steam medals right now although I've dabbled in the mods.

Also FWIW this and OOTP are my all time favorite ways to kill time during lecture..
