Don't know anything about GoW3, but just wanted to say that Gears of War 1 provided me with some of the funnest nex-gen gaming yet, and I don't even have a 360

Gears of War will be always be my favorite game of this generation.

I remember the trailer, and buying the game solely based off the trailer without ever seeing any gameplay. Let's just say I was not disappointed at all.

Hell, I bought an xbox 360 off that trailer alone.

I think the only reason its has so much range is to counter the sawed off. If you take away the range then everyone might as well just run around with the sawed off.

I love this beta, they've basically taking everything aggravating about Gears 2, and removed it. The only thing I can say I don't like is the Sawed off but I'm not too upset over it

if you hate the sawed off shotgun pray that your connection never dips b/c if so it is lights-out. I didn't know utorrent was up (cpu restarted and booted up utorrent) and was getting demolished by the sawed off shotgun

Retros blind fire is the problem. The range and power are fine. But the fact its just as accurate and the most damaging weapon while blindfiring is pretty retarded.

Lancer might as well be a water gun next to Retro and HB.

Still dont have much of an issue with DBS. If you got that close to me how can I complain ?

The world premiere of the Gears of War 3 campaign trailer will air next Saturday, during two of the world's biggest sporting events.

The footage will debut on 28 May at 21:45 BST, during the Champions League Final, and during Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs in the U.S.

The trailer promises to give fans of the series a "gripping preview" of the game's campaign, as Marcus, Dom, and their fellow battle-hardened COGs make a last-stand against their old foes, the Locust, and their new nemesis, the Lambent.

I mentioned this earlier in this thread, but I'll state it again- for some reason, I love the campaign for the Gears games, and can play them more than once. But, I absolutely hate the online game for whatever reason. I always end up trying to play it, but something about it I just don't like.
