    There's an iso button?

When I want my big man to post up, I r2+L2 to back him up, flick one of the sticks, he'll do a move and I'll put it up.

    btw, Amar'e is a BEAST!

I traded for Gerald Wallace (Fillers + Thornton + 1st round pick. I take their horrendous contracts, carrol and Diop).

I now have Paul at Point, Ariza at Shooting Guard, and Wallace at SF. All 3 have perimeter defense at A, so that helps me when I play. Solid defense is a must in this game for me. Paul lands anything, Ariza slashes, Wallace has inside game and decent post presence, West has inside game, and Emeka can play the post.

What about the post, though? When I get the ball down low, with my back to the defender, i'm lost. Basically I just hold down the iso button and jerk the shot stick randomly. Sometimes I just want to try a simple spin off the defender, but i'm lost. Any suggestions?
Hold L2, and back him down....depending on which way you flick the shot stick, your man will put the shot up.....depends on matchups tho, if you're using a guy with weak strength, he most likely won't be able to back in his guy.....you'd be better off facing up the man in those situations..(hold L2 and R2 to face up)

I have the luxury of using Amar'e so whenever he's in the post I like to back down then spin off my man......he's unstoppable down there

I don't get 2k's online setup it is pretty dumb if you ask me. Can someone explain what's up?

            1) Can I play with "my player" in an online game with others?

            2) are there lobbies?

            3) is there a ranking system like in the past 2k's?

            thanks guys

Yes. You select "Pick-up game" from "Play Next Game" in My Player mode.

I actually won two games in a row today, unbelieveably.
I am 2-1 with Portland in season mode.
Won two against Clippers and Knicks, so it's not like they're real wins.
The real test comes against Chicago and Milwaukee in my next games, both on the road.

Decided to do a franchise mode with a fantasy draft with Toronto. Built my team around Brandon Roy, Darren Collison and Jeff Green. Traded for DeJuan Blair. Collison is injury prone like a mfer. Simmed most of the first season and they finished with the 2nd overall draft pick. Through some trades, I dealt the 2nd overall pick, 15th overall pick and two 2nd round picks (of my three) to the Pistons for the 1st overall pick and their 2012 first round pick. I ended up taking a stud scoring SF with my #1 and in the second I took a 7'3 center had a mid-late 1st grade.

Actually liking the gameplay more than I originally did. Still a bit clueless about the whole ISO stuff and crossovers and such, but I've calmed down on the stupid long passes. Don't like calling plays because it's too stiff and slow (gotta get just right in that blue circle), I just pass it around and if someone gets open, put it up.

Team is better in year two, I've played a few games, we're 4-1. Collison is out for a couple weeks and Green is also banged up. I had to start a PG I signed from the NBADL in season one.

Using sliders from OpSports on pro-custom...I like 'em. I get hot, the cpu gets hot, we cool off, it's a solid game.

It's harder this year, but good ball movement can still create great offense. The key is just reading and reacting, forget about the iso motion entirely and focus on everything that's happening off ball. If you get open lanes and jumpers then you'll never have to worry about the iso motion moves.
Co-sign. You don't have to memorize every move W2B. I have five basic moves down pat and I'm fine.

IMO, the best sliders are jd's pro/sim set at OS. For rosters, use HoosierDaddy's.

I read on OS they were having issues about star players being left in free agency because rookies were way to good. Any of you experience this or are far enough into association mode to have seen it? They said it happens 2-3 years in.

League's are too much fun this year. I haven't experienced any d/c's or anything in leagues thus far.

I wish the Thunder had a decent Center... Every single time that Krstic,Collison, or Aldrich get a rebound or the ball passed to them, that shit gets stolen RIGHT away.

Although i've been on FYAAH with Harden hitting 3's .
