Official 2k11 Impressions

This is a very, very good game.

Played a 12-min quarter game (pro default, no slider changes).

My Raptors lost to Minnesota 95-84.

The game has great pace and absolutely demands that you call plays. I didn't mess around with the defensive strategy settings, but DaCzar's video on OS will be a tutorial.

And I think this game has in-games saves. Like Vandervoort, that's FTMFW.

I was an NBA2k8, 2k9 player, but moved to Live in 10. Glad to be back with 2k. Looking forward to some online games.

I saw one glitch: My coach - Jay Triano - was on the floor during gameplay! Literally in the halfcourt with the other ten 10 guys. He walked off after about five seconds.
I was hoping he'd do the Bynum "Elite Crucifix".

This happened to me too.

Also the commentary cut out when I was playing local 1 vs. 2 play but I haven't noticed it happening any other times.

so far the only problem im having online is against the cheesers who like to play a zone and ballhawk with a 7+ player. The defense is great that they take advantage and just when they see someone open just go to block and when you try to pass inside the ball gets tipped. have to see what I can do to break it

im loving this game so far, its way way harder to get into the paint, smooth animations, the A.I is awesome, presentation/commentary is the bees knees, still getting used to the controls but everything is looking great so far

I had a bug early in the day yesterday where I subbed in, and the man that should go to the bench just stood on the court. I had 6 men on the court and my opponent could not inbound the ball resulting in a 5 second call. I lol'ed.

that is going to change. They were already talking about it but couldn't do it for NBA 2K11 in time.
