        Not everything streams in HD. There is usually an HD icon near the movie or whatever to show that it streams in HD

          This is what I found in the Netflix help section:

          Q:The movie I watched instantly is supposed to be in HD but isn't. Why?

          A:Certain titles are available to watch in HD on your Netflix-ready device. To watch in HD you need:
          An HD TV and component or HDMI connection from your Netflix-ready device to your TV
          A high-speed Internet connection at time of playback (typically 5 Mbps or higher)


          So doesn't read like it is a plan related thing. The movie just might not be available in HD.

            yeah i saw the little HD box, so that's why i was confused.

            but the internet thing probably explains why, i've got some shitty internet that's cheap haha
