Rules

- Don't abuse the paint, This should be a lot easier to do this season then in the past with the fixing of how plays are done and it being harder to get inside the paint easily overall. Their will be no rules on the amount of points scored however with the shot selection we will be able to know if you abused the privilege. I'm giving leniency because of the defense 2k implemented, don't abuse it.

- Don't abuse fast breaking. The fast breaking numbers should never be too out of control. I think we all know how a NBA game is played and I expect us all to play as sim as possible in this aspect.

- On ball defense must be played most of the time. Using a zone and ball hawking with other players is not cool. You may use a zone during the game, but like all teams in the NBA you need to play man-to-man at least half the game. You can not play the passing lanes with an off-ball defender. You may switch over if you get beat off the dribble, but you are not to camp the paint with a big man off-ball. On-ball defense 90% percent of the game.

- No running full court press the whole game. Only in certain situations can you run a full court press. If you are losing by 20 or more at any point in the game you may run a full court press. You may run a full court press if losing by 10 or more with 5 minutes or less remaining in the 4th quarter. A full court press may also be applied towards the end of the 2nd and 4th quarter. This rule applies to full court traps as well so basically any full court defense.

- If you have a complaint about another player's game, you are too contact Stevsta via VSN or XBL. You may not post your complaints on the board or speak with other members about your complaints about a certain person. Reason being is that people hold grudges for different things. They could hold a grudge for losing to that person, maybe they just don't like them on VSN, whatever. Complain to me (stevsta) and me alone. And please let me (stevsta) know when a person breaks a rule. Even if it didn't offend you, it could offend someone else when they play them. Just let him know if you felt that they weren't trying to blatantly break rules.

-Trades cannot be made until after the second game of the season.The players' overalls must be within 3 points in a 1v1, 6 points in a 2v2, and 10 points in a 3v3. Everyone will be a part of the trade committee. 2 out of 3 votes are needed to pass. There will be no trades till after 3 games have been played.

We play three strikes and your out. In the playoffs, we play 1 strike and you're out. Respect your opponent, respect the game. Play to have fun, not to win at any means necessary.

Online League Settings

We are going to run a 25 game schedule with each block having 5 games. You will have the whole week to complete these 5 games. Failure to do so will result in 1 strike towards being thrown out of the league

The Sliders we will use are as follows

Difficulty: Superstar
Quarters: 8 mins
Gamestyle: Sim
Sliders: Sim (with minor tweaks)
