Not trying to start nothing, but someone is a fanboy. Each version has something that the other is not so good at. I wouldn't put one over the other. Like the lighting would favor the 360, but look at the reflection on the water. Overall the game is beautiful, but still probably sucks. Take a looky look

I don't usually pay attention to IGN. Have they shown a bias to 360 in the past?

Based on the two screen shots that actually show up for me the PS3 version looks better.

I still can't believe that a 360 version of any game looks better than Uncharted 2. But of course that game is 1 1/2 years old now.

The picture knubb has is a terrible comparison.

The lighting in both is completely different thanks to the dynamic lighting in the game. Honestly both console versions look the same to me.

Haven't really decided what I want to do yet. Haven't picked it up but wasn't planning on it till after the summer anyways. I'm waiting on more PC reviews to come out since it sounds like the MP is going to be shit like the past ones.

What I find most interesting in te videos stevsta linked were all teh comments. It seems everyone is talking about IGN being 360 fanboys. One comment really stood out and made a lot of sense. One guy said that there are IGN videos featured on the Liove dashboard, which is true. I think they are called IGN Strategize or something.

Sounds like to me IGN is in bed with MS so of course they are going to side with the 360 version of a big release.

The only time Crytek has said something recently regarding issues with the PS3 version was on the multiplayer demo. Other than that I have heard nothing like that from Crytek

Yeah so I was right.

Essentially it looks like the MP demo had issues which they knocked out and both versions are basically identical.

Crytek's executive producer Nathan Camarillo has told GamerZines that Crysis 2 looks exactly the same on PlayStation 3 as it does on Xbox 360, saying that "other than the key prompts you wouldn't be able to tell the difference."

"No, not at all," replied Camarillo when we asked whether technical setbacks were the reason why the PS3 version is yet to be shown.

"It's all ready to go. It looks just like the 360 version. Other than the key prompts you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

"The PS3 version runs the same as 360; 30 frames a second and in 3D, you know, everything. I don't know why EA chose not to. I'm more than happy to show it."

Up until now only the Xbox 360 version of Crysis 2 has been shown to press, despite Crytek claiming that it was getting "slightly better performance" out of the PS3 during development last year. Obviously that isn't the case now.

C'mon dude. Based on what you said any reasonable person would think you were talking about the total quality of the game, not just the multiplayer beta.

Oh, and I pi ked up my 360 copy a bit ago along with my $50 PSN card from Kmart for $80. Woot.

Lucky bastard, school has prevented me from getting it. I'm hoping I can get it tomorrow after 4 when i get out of class. Have you played it yet? I've read that single player is 10 hours.
