Exactly. I think I remember reading an article where Criterion said they first implemented much more realistic physics but the game was not fun.

I have a feeling only a handful of VSN'ers are getting this game. It would be a shame if you were the only one that got it for 360.

Not to mention I noticed you haven't been on your PS3 in 3 months?!? Is that right?

In my own opinion, i think NFS started the whole arcadey-racing thing with NFS2 and Hot Pursuit (El Nino, holla..), it just seems now like they're a lot more sim with their driving mechanics, like cars don't seem to be as easy to drift or anything like that anymore, doesn't seem half as easy as it used to be in Carbon, MW2, or Most Wanted for what it's worth..

So everything is fine and dandy with this game, but I am gonna be rather frustrated if this game can't be played split-screen offline with some buddies. I've seen no mention of it being capable of split-screen and even in the game intro video it says something like, "Play solo or connected."

I just googled it and found a thread on the Gamespot forums where someone said the devs previously confirmed NO SPLIT SCREEN. Weak.

i'm gonna pass on the game, havent played NFS in a long time, but i just didnt really like the demo, plus i'm not really a racing guy, also, i need to limit on what games i get

my biggest problem with the demo wasnt even the gameplay, it was the 2 minute like trailer in front of it, lol, game wise, i felt the cars were kinda clunky, similar to Mafia 2s cars, here i'm more used to GTA like cars, i had a hard time turning, but the one thing i did love was when you busted someone and you saw what happened to that persons car
