LCD or LED?

Its VERY difficult to explain without showing someone. When you watch "film" i.e Terminator or Titanic the resulting image looks like "video".
It feels like your watching behind the scenes footage.
Good for news and porn but not good for movies.
Id recommend going to BB and looking at a plasma and lcd ((120hz or more)) side by side.
ms Response time/refresh time is just how long it takes the pixel to refresh to a new color or state. Video processing is the actual handling of the video information and running it through the 120hz doubling , and other video features your set may have. This ends up with an increase in response time. People think its just the little trails old lcds used to have. But its literally like online lag ((just nowhere near as bad but the premise is)).
Sorry If im skipping or being unclear Im headed out of work. Ill post more later if you need.
Can you elaborate on the input lag bit? Like how do I tell what is good or bad? Is there a metric for this that is usually included on the specs of the tvs?

No spec. Specs in general contrast ratio/hz etc are all BS numbers. Its hard to be unique and most sets are VERY comparable to most users. The numbers game is important so youll never see truly accurate numbers.
Thats why you should narrow down your fave sets then look up on Amazon or AVS. It shouldnt be a deal breaker but it may nudge you one way or the other if one set is getting applause for gaming while the other line is getting groaned.
It really is the last step of the process once you've narrowed things down.
Do you have a camera with HD/HDMI output ? Record some scenery or things you see every day play them back on the different sets and see what pic you like best. Great litmus test.Best reason to have a license.
