lol most of my buddies think my gamer score of close to 9000 is crazy high. Most of these guys may have 2000 if they're lucky.

Why is that? I'm a married 30+ year old guy. I guess they are laughing because they are implying I don't have a life? What should I be doing?

I'm also guessing their scores are so low because all they do is play the latest CoD game that is out online day after day after day after day...

I finished Tomb Raider last night. That game can suck my dick. Speaking of gamer score and achievements, that game is a joke. Nearly half of the cheevos are tied up into completing the areas without dying...ONCE. And by areas, I mean the three or four chapters that make up a part of the game, ie Egypt. It seems impossible. Not because of the combat but because Lara constantly doesn't respond to what you are trying to tell her to do. She'll jump one way when you clearly need her to jump another. It's pretty stupid that I beat the game and got ALL the relics and treasures and only got 465 points. I'm just glad I'm done with it.

I decided to pick up Bioshock 2 again and hopefully I'll stick with it this time. It helps that my wife was sitting next to earlier, watching and giving me tips since she already beat it. I'm up to the section where you are walking around in the water.

Let me guess? GooseDennis got banned and he made a new user name that looks like a dick? If so, how fitting.

Have you ever played the new TOmb Raider Underworld? I've tried it out, even bought it, but seems a little fruity.

As for Bioshock 2, I liked it a lot but the 2nd half of the story is a little doo doo and I had a hard time playing it long periods of time.

Yeah, I played and beat it when it came out. I like it a lot more than Anniversary.

Speaking of Tomb Raider Underworld, I remembered that there were two pieces of DLC released for it. I went and checked and they are still $10 each. What a joke. You can download the entire game for $20 yet the two small DLC add-ons equal the price of the game.

This just reminds me of how broken this whole digital download shit is on consoles. At least on PC services like Steam they constantly discount content. It's like pulling teeth just to get discounted Arcade games or "deals of the week" on PSN or Live. It's a joke when you look up old ass DLC like Underworld's or CoD 3 map packs and they are still full price. Fucking dumb as shit.

I would also like to add that I just finished the snow mission in Black Ops. I think it was mission 6? I think the campaign is pretty bad ass so far.

Exactly. I showed some of my friends my gamerscore the other day, and they were asking how I could be such a huge dork. Well, let's see...I have had the 360 for almost 4 years...I play a wide range of games, and tend to get 70% of points from all of them...

Meanwhile, the same guys are either on CoD or Battlefield every single night for 4-5 hours at a clip. Them and their 1500 GS. Fucking pussies.

It's not a little impressive? LOL.
I didn't realize you were up to 60,000...I'm almost to 30,000 and I feel a little dirty.

Most of us only play 10 hours a week and really the only games we play are whatever the latest NHL game is.

None of us play CoD lol.

I think that you're being a little contrary Leaf. I play about 5 to 7 hours per week and my gamerscore is almost 40,000. Between Gamefly and actually making an effort to beat games, the gamerscore racks up. It's certainly not a goal of mine (although I love that cheevo unlocked sound).

I see what you're saying, but even if it isn't COD, I think the point is, if you play one or two games period, your gamerscore isn't going to go up.

Mine is at 9000 after 3 or 4 years of playing but I can trump all of you with the amount of PC games I used to play. The sheer number of hours I used to put into them is laughable looking back at it now.

So I'm a little over 8 1/2 hours into God of War: Ghost of Sparta. I think I have about a handful of areas left so I'm guessing I'm going to hit around ten hours when it's all said and done. Not only is that pretty impressive for a handheld game but I think I couldn't disagree with G4 more. I saw their recent review for the game and they said it was six hours. I don't know what game they played but there is no way you can cut four hours off the play time. I can honestly say it is one of my faves in the series. Maybe because it's the latest one but I'm loving it. The new spartan spear and shield is pretty bad ass, especially when powered up.

I also finished the 10th mission in Black Ops. This too seems to be my favorite campaign in the CoD series. Tons of action. I also love slitting the throats of those sneaky ass Vietcong.

I just kicked God of War: Ghost of Sparta's ass. It clocked in at a little over 11 hours which is pretty remarkable for a handheld game. It was quite awesome as well.

The credits are taking almost as long as the game did though. LOL.

Now I'm thinking of firing Retro Game Challenge up on the DS. The last time I played it I had only unlocked the third game I believe.
