so what games did you get for xmas? i ended up getting super mario galaxy 2 for the kids. I fired it up last night and it was great. Seemed a little less disorienting compared to the 1st one. graphics looked great (for the wii) and coop is better in this one.

Do the kids enjoy it? I have some little cousins that I'm visiting in a few weeks, and I was looking at Wii games for them.

they love the game...lots of bright colors and cool characters. plus its alot of fun to play solo or coop

im playing vanquish as my xmas gift....game is bad ass.....would be a great rental

isnt that a ps3 game? i recall seeing it got very good reviews. can you post some thoughts?

Im playing Vanquish right now, its multi platform. Very different but same at the same time as a 3rd person shooter. Its very fast and hectic but once you do basic training at the start hes all very simple to control. Has lots of boss fights and your "mentor" looks like an 80 year old Marcus Fenix.

I actually didn't get any games because I just buy games that I want throughout the year.

I did start Kane & Lynch 2 last night. I played co-op with my cousin. While JMS sent me a message saying he wouldn't pay. 99 cents for it I really enjoyed it. Its pretty short but crazy intense. I loved the whole cell phone quality video and it had one of the best shooting from a helicopter sequences I've experienced. The level where you run through competely naked was hilarious. I still have a few cheevos I need to clean up.

it is definitely worth a rental. Single player only like 6-8 hours. Controls are very tight and game play is fun. First boss is really hard till u figure out the best strategy. The bosses are HUGE too!

Love 3rd person shooters like this. Think gears of war just much faster.

the characters in the games were always interesting the and the multiplier modes just sound interesting and fresh

I got it for $12 or $13 and it was definitely worth that to me.

Another Sly Cooper done and another platinum trophy.

Plus my cousin and I fired Borderlands back up after destroying K&L2. We were blowing through the Clap Trap DLC with a little help from Grif Got Swag (well actually we were just helping him level up his level 22 character fast as shit). We finished the main "story" missions and now we just have a few side quests and achievements to clean up.

Then I think it will be on to Transformers.

Nice! My son and I started Sly ourselves, but only put an hour into it. Then it was, Ratchet CIT, LBP, Epic Mickey, DK Country Returns. After starting all the new Christmas games, we ended up back on Lego Batman. Go figure.

Twigg.....if you are still on the fence for GT5 because of tuning...here's a tip, the best mod to any car is racing soft tire and first oil change. The oil change, costs you nothing, and will give you a significant HP gain. The racing tires, increase the grip of your car 5x over and then you can go nuts with HP mods, and suspension tuning.

The Sly Collection is pissing me off, I know it's not an overly difficult game but I keep dying all the time and have to go back through a lot of areas.
