Finally finished Transformers. That was one kick ass game. If you like Transformers (G1, not the lame movies) and blowing shit up then you need to play it.

I downloaded Superstars V8 Racing and Biinic Commando Rearmed from PSN yesterday for $10 and $5 respectively. I played V8 for a bit, just doing some of the license tests. It seems like it has a shit ton of content and I like the game play. I think the initial price may have been $30 so $10 is a steal.Comment

I finished up Singularity today and I was very impressed. Great FPS with an intriguing story and a cool time shifting mechanic. The deadlock fucking owns.
My wife finally picked up my Goldeneye Wii today so I'm probably going to pop that in before the podcast. The gold classic controller is pretty boss as is the "Cheaters" t-shirt. Not bad for $40. I also finally received my LBP2 CE from Gamestop which I will probably check out tomorrow.Comment

I am very impressed with Goldeneye Wii. I only played through the tutorial and first mission but that first mission was pretty damn intense. The mechanics are solid but of course the graphics are nothing to write home about because it is on the Wii. I played about five multiplayer matches and they were fun as well. Not so much as a hiccup or any lag at all.Comment

The wife and I finished up Dead Space Extraction today. For a guided/rail shooter it was top quality all the way. And unlike most rail shooters it had a very cool story which ties in perfectly to the first Dead Space, which I popped in immediately after.
I almost forgot how fucking awesome DS1 is. I'm going to really enjoy playing through it again.
I also finished up GoldenEye on the Wii. Excellent game. The set pieces were awesome. The action was non-stop. I loved how you can complete any mission numerous ways. The last chapter of the game is a fucking bitch though. Of course I played on Hard (007) difficulty so take that into account.Comment

Ok, so I finshed up Mafia 2 yesterday and fucking loved it. The story was great, the graphics amazing, great voice acting... I know there have been a lot if complaints about hiw linear the game is eventhough it's set in an "open world". It is a bit of a shame that there isn't more side stuff to do in such a beautifully designed world, but I didn't mind be ause I find that with any GTA game I play I just stick to fhe story missions anyway.
I still have the two DLC packs to play.
I'm also halfway through Dead Space 1. Goddam I love that game. It's easily one of my favorite games this generation.Comment

So I finished Dead Space and got most of the trophies to boot. The only onesI didn't get would require a second playthrough and also there is no way I'm going after the one that requires you to beat it on the hardest difficulty. I said it before and I'll say it again. I <3 Dead Space. I can't wait to start DS2.
Which brings me to another game I've been playing, Dead Space Ignition. Gpd awful. The motion comic story is cool but the hacking gamea are a combination of frustrating and pointless. I've somehow forced myself through two of the four endings.
I've alsofinished the Jimmy's Vendetta add-on for Mafia 2. It was pretty fun. The missions were cool and varied but some.of the achievements are a joke. One requires you to drive 1000 miles. I.did every mission in the game, somw multiple times because the game is rather difficult, and I barely eclipsed 200 I think. The other requires 1000 kills which I ended up with around 600. Meaning I'd have to play through everything twice basically.
I also am about halfway through Joe's Adventures. The missions seem to have even more variety and creativity than JV and the cheevos seem much much more realistic.Comment

I finished up Joe's Adventures. I thought the missions were even better than JV but goddam if they weren't even harder. I honestly don't know what the developers were thinking about the difficulty. If you google Mafia 2 Joe's Adventures there are just post upon post of people complaining bout the difficulty, most of which never even finished the DLC because it was so frustrating.
I also just finished Dead Space. Fucking loved it. Even more than the first and that's saying a lot.
I started Wolfenstein on the 360 as well. I wasn't expecting much but I'm pretty damn impressed. The controls are tight, the graphics are good and the powers/abilities seem to be pretty damn cool. I also like how it's a little open worldy in the mission structure and there seem to be a lot of goodies to find in the levels.Comment

I just finished Wolfenstein. While it was an enjoyable game the achievements were fucking grueling. I only got 340 points and beat it on Hard. I think the only campaign cheevo I didn't get was for beating it on Uber difficulty. Not only are the cheevos few and far between but most of them are multiplayer. Fucking dumb as shit Raven.Comment
