Man, I missed this before. Just a savage burn.

Did you ever finish Deadlight? I liked it quite a bit, but I thought that the ending was bad. I dunno if I'd pay 15 bucks in retrospect (although man is the game pretty and well designed artistically).

I regret getting the game on PS3 though because my 360 has been getting almost zero use lately.

And fuck the haters, RE6 is a fun game.
I will play RE6 at some point, almost because of the hate at this point.

As far as Dishonored, I didn't realize that Swarley missed that either, but oh well, it doesn't matter. That games story is silly and a sidestory at best. Still, fun if you like the genre, and the skills are fucking awesome.

Probably b/c paying attention to anything in that game outside of killing people is like banging your head against a brick wall.

Yes I did. If I would've paid full price for Deadlight I wouldn't have been too pissed but I do feel better paying half. My only real complaint was that the controls weren't as tight as I would've liked. It really just reminded me that Chair needs to make another Shadow Complex game ASAP.

So far it reminds me a lot of Bioshock with the art style, the dual wielding and the looting. Plus you have the stealth elements obviously. I keep hearing it gets a lot better when you start unlocking powers.

And yet you can swallow most of the bullshit in Assassin's Creed?

*I realize it's not a fair assessment given that AC's had an entire series to tell it's convoluted story while Dishonored's only had one game thus far.

            But I'm making it anyway.

AC has had an entire series to tell its convoluted story and that is to its DETRIMENT. Sorry Swarley. At least Dishonored can regroup maybe. Assassins Creed is a FUCKING MESS at this point and needs a miracle to save it IMO.

Yeah, I love some of the AC games, including their stories. On the other hand, not all of them are great, and can be far from it. That doesn't change the fact that despite Dishonored's good gameplay, the story is a steaming pile of crap.

It'd be a waste of forum space but I'd like to see a poll as to whom the greatest videogame assassin is (and more than just the AC folks and our man Corvo...).

Less of a waste than some of the other crap in other forum areas lol. Quite the group of assassin's we'd have there.

So, Dishonored's story is that bad, eh? I guess that explains why Patrick Klepek loved it so much. His taste is usually pretty bad. My buddy loved it though too but he also a huge GB fan...

I don't know if I'd call it bad, it's just mind numbingly boring. At least the good gameplay saves the game though.

It wasn't bad nor was it good. Swarley's right about it being kind of boring but the gameplay did save it. I mean i liked it because it had a Bioshock feel to it but the story was a little rough and the AI's were pretty damn stupid and sometimes just plain ridiculous. Example, sometimes you can literally walk by them and they won't see you but other times you're about 100 yards away and they spot you and know where you are hiding. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Yeah, I've noticed some of that already. I haven't been able to just walk past anyone yet but I've had more than my share of enemies seeinging me where I didn't think it could've been possible, causing me to restart over and over.
