I'm really enjoying Downpour. The combat is mediocre but the game looks great and it's eerie as fuck. Some of the "side quests" are really interesting and cool. I'm liking the story so far too.

Raptr says that I'm at 11 hours of play time and I think I still have a decent amount to go. I definitely can't say that I didn't get my monies worth out of these two SH games.

Ok, so I finished up GoW Ascension last night and fucking loved it. Another great entry in the series. I've mentioned it in oter threads but I was honestly shocked at the game's length. It took me 11 hours to finish, and that was with finding all of the eyes, feathers and weapons, and I would guess most of the red orb chests. Tack on a few more hours to that for chapter select to clean up some trophies and I was definitely pushing 15 hours. I figured with the implementation of the new multiplyer mode they were going to phone it in with the campaign but they didn't. I thoroughly enjoyed by play through. When I started playing late Friday night I didn't want to stop until I finished it at 5am. Speaking of the multiplayer, I still want to try it and I may also fire up New Game + and beat the game on Hard for that platinum.

I've also been balls deep in Bioshock. Yes, the original. I got the standard PS3 version which comes with the original for free. My wife is a HUGE Bioshock fan and wants to watch me play through all three in order. She's played through 1 and 2 on the 360 at least five times each. With her sitting next to me it's like having my own person Game F-A-Q (in my Brink voice with the pinky out ). She knows every nook and cranny in those first two games. I'm most shocked that she has the patience and willpower to just watch me play instead of firing up Infintite for herself, especially considering my 360 Songbird Edition arrived today so she wouldn't even have to steal the PS3 copy from me.

Bioshock 1 is still about as awesome as I remember, although some of the controls irk me at times. Not being able to dual wield your plasmids and weapon like you can in 2 is a real bummer. Havinng to switch from one to the other, and then also trying to reload a weapon only to have your character shoot himslef with an EVE syringe, or witching to a plasmid and trying to hit an enemy only to have him use the syringe can be rage inducing at times. It's still an amazing game and I'm reallu looking forward to playing through the rest of it, then 2 and then Infinite.

Also, an unboxing video of the Sonbird Edition will be forthcoming.

I spent several hours playing Saints Row 3 single player last night with my hot, topless fenale character. I tried clearing up several side activities and buy a bunch of property so that the next time I play with Dizzle we can just play story missions and the more fun and difficult side activities.

Also getting pretty deep into Bioshock. I'm in the Apollo Apartments area. Hoping to finish the game up soon so I can get to 2 and ultimately Infinite.

Closing in on finishing Infiniten(PS3) and pretty deep into Sleeping Dogs (360). I dusted off the Wii today and finally finished Donkey Kong Country Returns after playing it on and off for about two years. LOL. Now I'm in a Wii mood and I'm thinking of either finally playing A Link to the Past that I downloaded from the VC ages ago or Kirby's Epic Yarn. Or maybe Dishonored on PS3?

I played a bunch of Mario 3D World (WiiU) and LEGO Marvel (PS4) yesterday. The wife and I are now halfway through World 5 in Mario 3D. We've only scratched the surface with LEGO Marvel. It's pretty typical LEGO fare but I do like the open world aspect and skydiving into the missions is pretty great.

I would say definitely. We've put in 5+ hours easily and I think it said we were 4% complete? LOL. If you're familair with LEGO games you know it can take 30+ hours to 100% everything. This one seems to be the biggest yet with the open world stuff and the multiple hub areas. I'm betting 50+ hours. Plus co-op is great. It only has couch co-op though.

Still worth it without being able to couch co-op

Maybe... just MAYBE, they will implement online co-op one of these days.

No question. It looks like it's $49 on Amazon right now.

It doesn't matter to me. Really the only person I think I'd want to co-op with is my wife anyway. She loves the LEGO games. She's played more than I have. She's played all of them in fact.

I was wondering what happened to this thread recently. Nice to see it going again.

LEGO Marvel is definitely worth full retail. I think I have about 12-15 hours into it now and I haven't scratched the surface of all the unlocks. I could probably put 100 hours into it.

So, the wife and I have put in 20+ hours and I think we're around 40% completion. We have half (125) of the gold bricks and most of the red Deadpool bricks. We have all of the multipliers so we now have over 1 billion studs. The only thing that detracts from the game is the flying and the flying races. Plus the fact that there is no option for inverted controls. I'm hoping to 100% this and get the platinum and then move right on to the LEGO Movie game.

Also, Bomber, if you haven't bought the game yet Toys R Us has it this week for $20 (360/PS3) and $30 (XBone/PS4).

Which also means you can price match at Best Buy.
