Yeah I got 2 in the first game...none in BL2. I actually didn't like one of the PL guns in the first game.

That's so dumb. The only raid boss that I know of is that Hyperious the Invincible guy. I tried to fight him last night and lost miserably. He was only a level 32 but he's got these four robots constantly healing and shielding him so I have no idea how I could ever beat him solo. The Liviathan is another boss but he was part of the story. And then for some reason immediately after beating him I went back to Oasis and on the bounty board there was another optional quest to fight him again.

You need to beat the raid bosses on UVHM in order to get the "good" loot

They did that so people wouldn't spam them on Normal difficulty.

Well, that's dumb. That still doesn't explain why the enemies are scaled so shittily.

I don't see why Gearbox should care if people did that. You're probably getting underleveled (and subsequently near useless) loot if you're farming raid bosses on Normal.

Shit like this and nerfing weapons/shields/mods makes me scratch my head a bit.

              Does this help?
On normal mode the weapons you get from like tipping moxxi, slots, and shops will be at the level the mission of the main story line your on.
So if your like at bloodwing, but your level 28 the items you get will be around 20, or whatever level the mission is.
On normal the items in the torgue vending machines can scale up to 30, but if you started the quest before you finished the main story, the items will only scale 5 levels above the main story mission you were on before you started the campaighn of carnage

That doesn't help me. The max loot you get and the enemies you face are level 32 tops. The scaling is just horrible in Bl2.

                  Yup. It's fucking dumb.

The reason they first nerfed the bee shield was because people complained it was OP.

                  :-/

If you think it's OP, don't fucking use it. There are only a billion other shields to use. Lol

Yeah, that was baffling. Now I will probably never beat Terramorphous.

If you ask Pad, Donny, Handle or myself nicely, maybe we'll help you...

Also, if you're not wading through Playthrough 1 in the DLC for skins/heads. it's time to go up to TVHM.

I'm talking about the 360 version, so, as much as I would appreciate you guys helping me I know you can't. The wife and I will get to the DLC on PS3 eventually though.

Fuck TVHM solo. Everything I've heard says it's complete and utter bullshit.

It's stupid because it's either way too easy if you play on Normal or it's way too fucking difficult on TVHM. The lack of balance is pretty unacceptable. Borderlands 1 destroys 2 in that area.

The wife and I played through Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel over the weekened and had a blast.

I just hit the moon in Wolfenstein. I guess I still have a ways to go? The section on the Gibralter Bridge was a pain in the ass on Hard. I was so tempted to drop the difficulty down. I died soooooooo many times. Longest FPS campaign ever?

While I'm away I've been playing the Jak & Dexter collection on Vita. This is the first time I've ever played this series. The first game is really solid and it's wah more involved than I expected. I would guess I've been playing for a round 15 hours and I'm probably halfway through the game. There are so many collectibles. Some of them are pretty ridiculous to collect and without Gamefaqs I know I would've never figured it out. There are still some that I can't snag because the timing is insane. But I love how it's set up with all the different open areas and you can pretty much progress through the game in whatever order you want.
I will say that the controls are not as precise as they need to be. Maybe it's just playing on the Vita but I've died countless times Judy because the controls wouldn't respond to my inputs. The double jump especially gives me fits.
I also remember hearing this game had frame rate issues but I haven't noticed any.

The wife and I played 4-5 more hours of Diablo yesterday. I don't know how to explain it but we both agree the game is not very good, but for some reason we want to keep playing. I honestly don't know why this series has such a huge following? It's a mediocre game in basically every aspect. I just enjoy it because I enjoy the genre. The characters are lame, the story is terrible, the combat is boring. The loot is decent I guess.
We're both level 17 at this point. I know we still have a long way to go.

IMO, Diablo 2 was the apex for the series. I found D3 to be a weird slog, and the changed abilities is a step back I think.
