How's that for gayness? 2 stores robbed at gunpoint for the inventory on hand. Not where I live, but near where I work. Stores are about 20 minutes from each other. of course, the robbers were black. So it was a true "Black Ops" campaign

I dont do the midnight release thing anymore, but MW2 at the gamestop i used to go to... The cashier told me they had 900 preorders and they got all of them out in and hour and a half at the midnight release. There are 3 gamestops and about 3 mom and pop shops around here in a town of 100k.

Showed up at 10:30 to wait in line last night. We were probably 50th or so in line and by 11:30 there were another 150 or so behind us so it got pretty big. There was even a costume contest thing that went on with a guy dressed up as Price, a guy in a full on ghuille suit, and the eventual winner a guy in an orange M&M costume. It was pretty funny seeing the guy in the ghuille suit all pissed because he lost to a guy in an M&M costume.

I'm sure it was insane here by my house. One of the biggest universities in the state is about 2 miles away which means college guys blowing off classes today so they could play all night. I opted to just wait until lunch today and I'll ride over to Best Buy with no line and pick up my copy.

Same i live a few miles from the biggest school enrollment wise in the state, so i just went to best buy the next day and walked in with no hassle. F waiting at midnight with hundreds of people.

Funny because most of these people have only been fans of the series for like 3 years. I've bought every version since the original CoD and I don't even have interest in this new one. They need to just remake CoD2 and kill the series ASAP.

However last week I was pretty upset and shocked at the fagdom for GoldeEye Wii. I figured I could stop in just about anywhere after work on release date and easily snag a copy. Shit was sold out everywhere.

GoldenEye for the N64 was just about the biggest game on that platform so not a huge shock on that one being sold out when it came out for the Wii.

Yeah after the fact, I figured the same thing myself.

I guess I just didn't prepare at all for it to sell so well. Plus, I figure most kids who owned a n64 are now at least in their late teens or twenties. I figured at that age, most would move away from the Wii toward a more mature 360 or PS3.

Either way, I fucked up and was wrong and remain Goldeneye-less

I don't have all the details but apparently one of the suspects was arrested in my district yesterday. The fucking idiot was selling the copies of the game out of the trunk of his car.

And on a related note, a buddy of mine who works as loss prevention sent me a picture of two idiots camping outside of a nearby Gamestop at 5:30pm. It's not like the store isn't going to get hundreds of copies you fucking morons.
