    Madden 10 Franchise " Diamond's in the Rough "

Finally been able to get into my offline 49er's Franchise. Just curious to know of any low rated players/rookies/FA's that either turned out to be Studs after getting playing time or low rated players that progressed way beyond what they should of because they excelled when given playing time.

So far, I have found 1 on the 49ers... Phillip Adams.

Nate Clements started my season as if he no longer had any heart to remain a 49er nor did he play for the amount of money he is being paid. After getting lit up by receiver M?. Williams from the Seahawks and then getting torched in the first quarter for two big TD's against the Saints, I benched his ass and literally threw in Adams to start in the first corner position in the Depth Chart.

He went on to intercept two Drew B. passes including making a stellar CPU controlled play in the 4th quarter where he basically got stuck covering a running back going to the flats and Colston breaking near the endzone sideline. He moved up just slightly as if to cover the running back. When Drew B tried to hit Colson on Adam's break, he make a sick play on the ball and ran it back for a TD and 49er victory.

In his next 5 games all played by me against the CPU, starting at the number 1 spot, he has 5 picks (4 CPU picks, 1 User), 19 tackles, 2 FF and literally ended Eagles D. Jackson's season with a bone crunching hit on the sideline where D. Jackson was trying to tip toe inbounds while making the catch. Adams dropped a hit stick with his shoulder, dropping Jackson while staying on his feet when he dropped the hit. Ended Jackson's season with a broken collar bone/shoulder. I am impressed to say the least. He shut down R. White for a whole game. White had 1 catch for 17 yards and that was it.

His stats so far in the season:
    22 Tackles
    7 Int
1 Int Returned for touch down
    2 FF

His rating: I believe somewhere between 64 and 68. Impressed to say the least.

Any diamond in the rough for your Chise?

    In 11 or 10?

For me in both games, Jason Williams. Hes a 87 spd MLB and he has amazing coverage skills and hands but hes rated in the low 60s high 50s. In 10 he was a B potential in 11 hes a C. Hes a great player though for sure.
