the graphics were too dated in that game. plus the control was whacked

found this for anyone with the game

Since these are on the disks already, they all work. Enjoy...

Simply pause the game, and select Enter Bonus Code. Enter the following codes to unlock their respective items.

      Anathros Sword: 6770-8976-1634-9490
      Axe: 1775-3623-3298-1928
      Dragon Armor: 4149-3083-9823-6545
      Elexorie Two Handed Sword: 3542-3274-8350-6064
      Hammer: 6231-1890-4345-5988
      Lucienda Sword: 9122-5287-3591-0927
      Scroll- Bonus Map: 6972-5760-7685-8477

found this....earlier i said wtf is console command. here it is.......you want to do this after you loaded and your in-game. apparently u have to do this everytime u play the game. i havnt tried any of it, but people said while a pain, its worth it....u can decide

As long as u DONT use a cheat code, you wont lose achievements/trophies

that link has all the info

the quotes below is from people on neogaf

wow. Incredible about the console working on the console version. Yeah is this a first? I think it's awesome and wish more console games would let you tweak with settings this way.

For those with the console versions, please note that you have access to the Console Edit Tool. What this is, it allows you to enter cheats and other type of codes to improve the game. I don't condone cheat codes, but the codes to improve gameplay and some graphical tweaks is pretty good idea to do.

For example, when running, the game has blur built in, using the Console Command mode, you can enter a code that eliminates it. Other codes such as reducing fog in the distance, reducing DOF etc.

On the 360 to acceess the mode do the following:

Hold the RB & LB and keep them held
Press in this order the following----> Start, Up D-Dad, Start, Down D-Pad

You have to do this in-game and if done correctly you get a black box accross the screen to enter the commands. If you have a chat pad for the 360 you can just enter them, if not, hit "X" and the on-screen keyboard comes up. Here are a few commands, again these are just graphical commnads, there are cheat ones you can find (I wont post them) as I heard it can turn achievements off. Before anyone asks, yes these are official tweaks and no it wont ruin anything.

One other note, you do have to enter these every time you load your game to play. So once you shut down the system and you begin to play again you have to re-enter the codes. I also advise that you enter these after you get out of the "intro" area of the game since you will be outside and it is easier to tell what these are doing for you. But here are the most common ones that i have used myself.

To remove blur enter: engine.usedof 0
        To remove blurrines when running: graph.setfastrunspecialefx 0 0 0.0
To remove the camera from wobblying when running: cam.bank.move 0

These also work for the PS3 version. The above made a big difference when playing the 360 version. There are alot of others as well, but those 3 are the ones that I have used and tested.
Incidentally, to use these on PS3 the code is a little different from the 360 one posted above - you have to (from the main menu) HOLD L1 & R1 then while still holding press, SELECT, D-PAD LEFT, SELECT, D-PAD RIGHT which brings up the on-screen keyboard.

        Here's the one's that had the most noticeable effects for me;

        cam.bank.move 0 - reduces camera wobble
        engine.bloommultiplier 0 - turns off bloom
        engine.edgeaablend 0 - forces AA on objects
        engine.mblurscale 0 - turns off motion blur
        engine.usedof 0 - remove DOF
        graph.enablefog 0 - removes fog
        graph.setfastrunspecialefx 0 0 0.0 - remove fast running motion blur

        Question asked about recommended settings

Yes, here are the one I recommend.

Optional - Depending if you like these effects
        Turn Bloom effect Off - (Engine.BloomMultiplier 0)
        Turn HDR Bloom Off - (engine.hdr 0)
        Turn DOF Off - (Engine.UseDOF 0)
        Turn Motion Blur Off - (graph.setfastrunspecialefx 0 0 0.0)
        engine.mblurscale 0
        engine.mblurintensity 0

        Recommended
        Turn Fog Off - graph.enablefog 0
        Turn Camera Bobbing Off - (cam.bank.move 0)
        Turn Edge Blending AA - (engine.edgeaablend 0) (or 0.7 and 0.9)
        PS3 Recommendations

        engine.mblurscale 0 -> Use to disable motion-blur
engine.mblurintensity 0 -> Use to disable Blur Entirely (works in conjunction with the above command)
        graph.setfastrunspecialefx 0 0 0.0 -> Removes blur while running fast

*Keep in mind that removing blur will impact framerate a bit but it's worth it, IMHO.

        engine.bloommultiplier 0 -> Turns bloom off
engine.grassuserdistance 0 -> Removes Grass Entirely (can help with framerate)
engine.farplane 1200 -> The number relating to the draw distance. The default is 1200. Try setting it to 800 or 500. Improves framerate though you'll see tons of draw-in at lower numbers.
engine.dstfarplane 6000 -> This should completely turn off far-away rendering, improving the framerate significantly; again, experiment a bit - on PCs default is 6000.
engine.stencilshadows 0 -> This will disable shadows entirely. Again, another help to framerate.
graph.enablefog 0 -> Disable the fog in-game (another framerate booster in some instances)
cam.bank.move 0 -> Remove warbling of cameras as you run (helps reduce your need to vomit)

that stuff all has to do with personal preference in regards to the look of the game. i dont mind the motion blur or the camera 'bobble' while running. none of what those guys talked about bugs me so idk if i would use any of this stuff.

It's weird that they didn't make them menu options and kept the PC console command window. Must be a pain in the ass to type that stuff in.

well Im the new owner of Two Worlds 2. I was going to get it at game stop and trade in Madden 09 (collectors edition .50) Madden 10 ($2) Madden 11 ($12) The Sims3 ($18) TWPGA 11($12) Assasins Creed ($2) Fight Night 3 ($2.50) and for $49 dollars. Instead I went to Best Buy traded in Madden 11, SIms3 and Tiger for $15, $20, $15 and bought Two Worlds for $10.

Gotta get my son showered and to bed then I'll fire it up.

regarding these console codes. Thru my research it seems that the following are the options u may or may not want to change

note i also changed these and like the results

                  cam.bank.move 0 - reduces camera wobble
engine.bloommultiplier 0 - turns off bloom (brightness during the day)
engine.edgeaablend 0 - forces Anti Aliasing on objects
                  engine.mblurscale 0 - turns off motion blur
engine.usedof 1 - remove DOF (depth of field)
                  graph.enablefog 0 - removes fog
                  graph.setfastrunspecialefx 0 0 0.0 - remove fast running motion blur

the blur ones and bloom/dof ones make a huge difference in how things appear

I played it for about an hour last night. I really like it. To be honest a little much to remember with the RT, LT hit Y to mark the targets and stuff. But I still really like it. Now I dont look at all those things you guys are talking about with the camera bounce and stuff, but something like the blood splater could be a little better.

And thank god for the subtitles, I cant hear what what they are saying.

One Problem Im having though and some help where would be great. When Im in my inventory and it tells you what the item is the damage etc, I cant read that shit down in the left hand corner. The TV setting in the game is locked on widescreen so I dont know what to do to be able to see. Any suggestions.

And how often do you level up? I saved and ended when I met the blacksmith. I only leveled up once and I think I screwed it up. I had 5 points for Ranger, Melee and Mage but then later saw I had another 5 points to increase strength, etc.

Still I like the game, the tutorial is helping and Im looking to roll the dice later.

to fix the widescreen/cutoff issue...goto the pause menu and goto the graphics options. Look for the 3rd option (i think) it says something like view in safe area. Turn that on and it fixes the problem. I also suggest changing some other options in the pause menu as well. Like the camera speed and another big one is "change icons to text"

i suggest learning to love this site

the option on the left provide a wealth of info for a game thats overwhelming for any new player. I been playing for what feels like forever and feel like i havnt accomplished anything. There is so much to learn and figure out...but i love that

with the leveling...im up to level 9 right now. people say it slows down bigtime as you get up over 25. But if you mess up the points you can find a soul patcher and pay him to allow you to re-distribute your points. I came across a soul patcher last night and will use him tonight.

check out this link....scroll down to the section called carrier cards...then look for trap carriers. Under that is a video (that i cant link here) that is a must watch.....i cant wait to get to that point.

this is one sick fucking game. i cant believe how many people are missing out on such a great rpg. oblivan, fallout...any who loves sandbox style games. take the San Andrea map and multiple that by about 10 or 15 and you will understand the size and scope of this world. its so fucking big. and so varied

it amazes me how great the engine is for this game. the graphics are excellent but yet the load times are super fast. like 3-5 seconds when it loads a new area. while moving in an area you rarely see any loading and if you do its about a half second. plus it plays so smoothly. And if you have to reload or save your game, those times are again 3-5 seconds. loading a game may run at 5-7. I havnt even touched the main story line other than doing the tutorial to start the game. Since playing i have been exploring the world and doing some side quests. I found the mages guild and i been doing quests for them. these are similar to doing chantry or other board quests in DA.

i decided to give online a try tonight. you create a new guy for this mode. you can create 5 different players to use in MP modes. the coop (adventure) mode has 7 chapters all of which can be played with up to 8 people or even solo. regardless of playing solo, coop, private or public games, everything you do applies to the created player u made.

they also have Village mode which i really wanted to play. The made it so u must earn 10000 auras (coin system) before you can play village. at first it bothered me that i had to play and other MP modes to get to 10000 auras. But i played a solo adventure game playing thru chapter 1 and i got 9000 auras in that 1 chapter. I played the 1st part of chapter 1 a 2nd time to get my additional 1000 auras....so now i got 10K and can play village.

Village mode is like playing sim city where your guy buys a land and builds a town. I havent had enough time to post any details, but if you played sim city or something like the sims, then u know how this mode works.

so here is a game with a SP mode thats incredibly huge. And is by far has the most rpg depth of any game i have ever played. Excellent graphics and super fast load times. Fun combat with a crafting system that is supurb. A spell making system with so many variables to create your own spells that look kick ass and are fun and easy to use. On top of that you have a 7 chapter coop mode, a PvP mode with deathmatch and the like and a sim city style village mode. Yet the game wont get any love and people will pass on it

people are really missing out on an excellent game
