David Jaffe did a live chat with fans today on Sonyrumors.net and said that the traffic overwhelmed the Sony Servers, Sony was not expecting this much interest in TM and that theyre working on a fix.
He said No DLC is planned but if there's enough support, there may be DLC down the line.
there will be a Limit on the number of Talons[helicopter] in Nuke mode[Cheese tactic in the demo]
Free skins promotions with NOS energy drinks to be announced soon.
Early access to Axel is a Pre-order incentive, but he's unlockable to every1 who buys the game if you level up enough.

I love how every time a games servers take a shit it's always "We weren't expecting this many players." Really? It's Twisted Metal. One of the most revered series in gaming and it's coming back after several years in hibernation.
I finally checked out the demo last night and really liked it. I had no idea how to control my weapons after changing to the racing controls. I just kept spamming the square button.
The servers are jacked though. When I first tried going online I got a message saying the servers were down and to try later. I retried and got in. Then when I tried joining a deathmatch it took like three tries.
