You said NBA Jam was worth $50, your argument is invalid.

This is going to be under 20 bucks by May...just wait.

I played some last night at a friends house. Its entirely average in every area imo and average doesn't cut it in the shooter world for me these days.

Just beat it. I would guess it was between 4-5 hours. Crazy short. The atmosphere and the set pieces were awesome but they should've had a few more levels at least.

I have to admit Normal was pretty fucking hard. I can't imagine trying to play through this on the hardest difficulty, Guerilla.

Now I'm going to try to mop up some cheevos because I only fucking got 150 points after beating it. Unreal.

I'm going to play through on Easy and try to get the mission specific ones I missed, all the newspapers and the cheevos for beating each level without dying.

Online is boss. You guys are crazy. I have barely played single player, but as long as it's not terrible, this game is a sure winner. Anyone who just plays single player will surely not enjoy it for its short ass campaign, but you're missing out on a kick ass time online.

Hopefully I can get my monies worth from online, although I doubt it because I'm not much of an online guy.

What kills me is that everything about this game scream $40. Yet they charge full price and have the balls to sell tons of bullshit avatar garbage on Live. The suits are $5 fucking each?!? Are they serious?!?

And I just know a few weeks or so down the road they are going to release DLC, probably maps. They have some serious fucking balls if they do.

The MP is fun from what I played, but its nothing special. If your paying 60$ for what is basically an online game, it better be revolutionary in its gameplay. Homefront is not. Even if your bored of Reach, BO, and BC2, its too much for more of the same. At least to me.

I think the big gripe most people have is the content to price ratio. If the game was a 5 hr campaign with the good MP and ran 40$ standard, I think people would be more favorable toward it.

I just beat the single player, it is definitely short and a bit of a letdown. Single Player only fans should definitely stay away from buying this. As I said before though, the online is kickass. I love these battle points that really add a lot to the game. This is coming from someone who fucking hates respawn games as well.

2nd thought: The story kinda just ended. It definitely felt like you made a dent in the war, but not a huge one. They could have added a few more chapters, but they expect a sequel and decided to work on multiplayer.

If you haven't figured out that that's how games are made these days, you never will.

Oh, I know. But it's a big difference when you have a full featured game, like say CoD BlOps and a game like this that has a crazy short campaign and busted MP on day one. I mean, this was the biggest pre-sale game in THQ's history yet they seemed completely overwhelmed by how many people were online day one. Really?

Not that it matters but I expressed my displeasure to both @DannyBilson, @KAOS_CHEFS and @HomefrontGame on the twitters. Of course the only tweets they seem to respond to are people asking about the server issues.

Don't get me wrong, I've spent $60 on a lot worse and this isn't a terrible game by any means. BUt there is obviously a reason they withheld the review copies from the press.

Multiplayer was broken 1sy day? I never had any problems at all with the game.

I guess you were lucky. In the early part of the day I played a few games with no problems. Then later that night I couldn't get into the game at all. I asked two friends on ly list, one of which I part chatted with, and they both said they couldn't get into any games either. The one guy did say he could get into the occasional Skirmish game but that was it.

I did read on the twitters that they said to stick to Skirmish until they could get more dedicated servers up.

It seems like I'm in complete agreement with the reviewers out there concerning the campaign. Not only was it extremely short but it ended so abruptly. I think if they could've added maybe two more levels the game would've been leagues better and I would've been happy with my purchase.

I still need to play tons more online though because what little I played did seem very fun.
