I missed it but have it scheduled to record on the 19th. What I don't get is while I agree RDR is the best game, how can a game that didn't win for any console or PC win overall Best Game of the Year?

I believe they were supposed to announce a PS3 Exclusive today at the VGA Media Event - I haven't heard shit.

There were only a few choices that I really disagreed with. Costume Quest was one of them. Really?
As far as the show in general, you are always going to have quirks with a high power production like that. I thought it was very entertaining. I think most of the jokes were funny. As far as most of the jokes coming off as flat you need to keep in mind the more "quaint" setting they went with this year. It was just people sitting at circular tables like they were at a wedding reception. I would guess maybe 150 people were there? Whereas in an auditorium you will have several hundred, like the last few years. So of course you are going to hear less laughter because there was less people.
