The idea of playing 8 v 8 CTF on Blood Gulch again is so awesome. We used to do 4 Xbox LANs and I still remember the near brawls that would break out over accusations of screen looking.

twigg they released NBA Jam as a standalone game for $50 when it supposed to be a freebie in a $60 game what makes you think Halo 1 will be $20? It wouldnt be worth more than $20 but i severely doubt it would be priced that low.
For one, that Jam comparison is not the same at all. EA was obviously trying to entice gamers to buy Elite because they knew they had an inferior product and the nostalgia factor alone of Jam would help with sales. Plus the Jam they were going to include with Elite was very stripped down. The one that I bought comes with tons of modes and is worth every bit of $50. Actually someone could easily argue that you were paying $30 each for Jam and Elite. But of course Elite ended up getting canceled because it was such trash.

As for this game, there is no way they can charge more than $20 if they are in their right minds. But this is M$ we are talking about and this is their flagship franchise. I could definitely see them charging upwards of $40 just because it's Halo.

But I came to the $20 price because I was comparing it to the GoW collection, which is obviously what MS is trying to model. They see how successful these HD remakes are and they want to get in on it, which makes sense. But of course if this is true they are going about it their own way and it will probably be greedier. Instead of releasing both Halo 1 and 2 on one disc for $40 they will release both individually for $40 and also make sure that there is some sort of Halo game released annually.

Plus, I have a feeling this might be a download only title because MS loves digital distribution. Which is all the more reason I think it will be $20. But with the popularity of Halo and the fact that less than 50% of 360 owners are on Live (I just found that stat out a few weeks ago) MS would be losing out on a ton of money if it was digital only. We shall see.
