I beat the game. Clocked in at like 42 hours. The ending made me not want to play through again.

I don't see it anywhere. Do I have to scan for it or does it just show up in the mission log? Or did you have to activate it

It's on Eden Prime. Should show up under the galaxy's name on the map like most other missions.

I absolutely enjoyed the rest of the meat, the game had. The journal being so awful about tracking side quests made me hate doing them, and some were very boring. Scanning is better, but not by much. I ended up using a guide because it was becoming too tedious and I just wanted to find the good/useful stuff on the solar systems.

Squad selection was too small, in my opinion. I won't spoil anything about who you get to have, but I think I preferred the much larger selection of ME2.

The ending... didn't end like I wanted it to. And I can't really even think of how I wanted it to end. I just know that I didn't like it. And I've learned the number of endings, and that's the real discouragement from playing through again.

I'm curious to hear everyones thoughts, once you've all completed the game. Its a pretty polarizing thing, I think.

I don't care for scanning at all. I would actually prefer it be like ME2 rather than what it is here (and I didn't like ME2's scanning either). It's just silly and stupid and, as you said, more tedious than anything. Just cruising around hitting LT until the shit hits the fans and the ghosts come for Pac-Man.

I don't know that it's gotten much love from us here, but the music in the game is fan-fucking-tastic. I think I may download the soundtrack.

I wish the journal would update as you make progress through a quest. I have no idea if I've picked something up that I need for a fetch quest or not.

The journal is definitely the worst element in the game. Not like most RPGs, which constantly update your quests.

If it had a journal like Borderlands, this game just might be perfect.

I dislike the journal, but it also hurts the narrative too. I feel like I spend all of this time flying around hitting the LT until I have to flee from the Reapers just to find shit that I don't even know if I have yet (because there is no inventory). It's a little...stupid.

if you go sort by new all the things you have updated should be fairly at the top, but I totally agree with the journal sucking this time around
