most people probably dont know this one is not a 360 exclusive. it must really suck to only own a ps3
this game is gonna be awesome. i hope they add back the rpg aspects they took away from ME2

The trailer was a better version of Resistance 1 (when they were in Europe), only decades into the future and Commander Shepard tacked on at the end as McHale couldn't cut the muster apparently.

I highly doubt they'd have mega-boss battles all the time in-game but it'd be cool to see Joker and Co. go apeshit using the Normandy on some hulking robot.

Dude, I'm as big of a Mass Effect fan as they'll come, but that was by far the worst trailer they have shown of any mass effect game. Every single trailer for the second game was epic. Mass Effect 1 trailer was epic, but that was a 30 trailer of what I expected. A teaser is supposed to surprise you like what they did with the Shepard KIA one.

your talking about a game thats a year away. i am sure they have better video to show but imo what they showed speaks volumes.

you see a guy beaten and bloody sniping to save human lives followed by a pan out shot of the earth under siege by reapers of which at least 10-20 were hovering over the earth. Then a shot that zooms in on one of the greatest game characters ever with his movement and body language saying im fucking pissed and gonna kick some ass!

not to mention that even though earth has always been in the series, you have never been able to step foot on the planet. So they just told everyone what some already knew and that is the game is moving to the earth and Shepperd will be saving mankind on our home field.

how is that not epic? that little teaser said a lot and showed a glimpse of how epic the game will be

Good point. Now that you mention it that trailer was almost an exact replica of the old Resistance trailer.

Hmmm....or it could be because I have played both ME's on the 360, with my hundreds of different choices...and this is where the series began. On the 360.

You weren't surprised by Reaver's invading London? You weren't surprised by Shepard looking down on an exploding continent?

I really don't know what else to say, besides I thought it was pretty fucking awesome.

and that resistance sucks. twigg has never even played Mass Effect.

i started a new ME1 play thru because i didnt get to absorb the game since i played it about a month before ME2. I am playing as an adept then I will carry that over to ME2 as an adept and then use that to carry to ME3

i am really curious how they will approach ME3 for people who lost shepard. are they going to just replace him or bring him back to life with some cerberus technology. Thats a big deal and needs to be approached by bioware as a big deal

If you lost Shepard in Mass Effect 2 you can not take that game and carry it over to ME3. Mass Effect is the story of Shepard, without him the story ends. If Shepard died at the end of ME2 he is dead for good and thats how his story ends.

They'd probably just treat it like any normal B-Movie Action Flick...

"It's not the main character from the feature film! It's his retconned brother/sister/sibling we wrote in to tie in the DVD!"

I'm thinking if "your" Shepard bites it in ME2, Cerebus will step in with another clone or if you kept him alive for this long...
