He's talking about save mods, not the interactive comic that's on the PS3 and in the MS store.

The extended trailer didn't really add anything... Just a hype vid anyways.

Mass Effect 3 available on PSN at launch, with DLC and theme bonuses

You'll be able to buy Mass Effect 3 digitally on March 6, the same day it launches in stores. And for doing so, you won't just get the convenience of pants-optional purchasing -- you'll also get (just like with every other offer relating to Mass Effect 3) some DLC, in the form of an M55 Argus rifle.

You'll also get an exclusive, pre-order only PS3 theme (above), so people will have a good idea of what you're about to play, or what you just played, when you're in the XMB.

For vanguards how do you use Nova correctly? Run up to someone, do it, then charge to build your barrier back up? Doesn't seem very effective.

I only used it in emergency situations.

I enjoyed my Vanguard in ME1 MUCH more than in ME2. Vanguard was my least favorite class in 2, of what I played.

My most fun playthrough was actually my Insanity run as a Soldier. That class is so ridiculously overpowered with Adrenaline Rush. I couldn't imagine playing on normal with that.

Anyone know how much the downloadable extras that come with the ME3 collector's edition will cost?

Trying to decide if its worth it to return my pre-order and get the ME3 online that comes with a free copy of BF3.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

It is pretty fucking shiesty that EA/Bioware would do that but are you really surprised? Unfortunately games (especially from EA) have been heading this way for awhile now. So the better deal would be to just get the standard edition pre ordered and pay the $10 for the launch-day DLC to get the extra character, which as far as I'm concerned is crucial to to the game.

I tend to withhold judgement as far as how crucial some of these DLCs are to the overall story until after I've played them. Too often I've heard this same outcry and then the DLC is really not that integral to the story. We shall see though. Either way, I don't disagree with the idea of DLC at launch, per se, but in this case it is pretty fucking shady. If only because they KNOW that ME fans are going to be buying the game regardless, they KNOW that they will recognize the Prothean name, and thus, they KNOW some will upgrade to N7 for that reason alone. It's not like before when it was DLC that was with a new game.

In my mind its either not cool because:

                                1) It's just a side character on par with Zaeed, which wouldn't be a problem imo to not include with the game except for the fact that the Protheans are ope of the most speculated and glorified parts of the universe. It seems to me like to have one in the game should be a really big deal, not a sidenote.

                                or

                                2) It is a big deal and it is a full-fledged character like it should be, which obviously is a problem that customers who paid $60 to pre-order the game won't have access to it.
