my local shop allows you to pre-order the day of midnight release and then number your receipt. i just bypass the line, show my numbered receipt and they stop what they are doing and hand me my copy.

not sure if you have a store around you with a system like that, but that's how I deal with it.

How do I get in and out of a midnight release quickly and w/o having to deal with any fuckery?

Never been to one but I might go for this game since it'd be most convenient for me.

They usually aren't too bad unless you're there with 4,000 15 year olds for Call of Duty lol.

The ME3 launch won't be as bad as Call of Duty but probably worse than Skyrim. I plan on showing up around Midnight maybe 5 minutes early, wait a few minutes and gtfo outta there after i get the game.

Class is everyday, Mass Effect Midnight release is only once.

Man, just reading some threads at Bioware and Giantbomb and I have to say: fucking gamers are batshit crazy.

Like, a hyped game series final release stands to have a direct impact on their quality of life crazy.

I broke down and listened to the Giantbombcast with Casey Hudson, and it made me feel pretty good about everything. Now granted, it's not like he'd go on there and say "this thing is a rushed piece of cat dookie", but something in his tone sounded like he believed what he was saying about the game and wasn't faking it. We shall see soon enough though.
