New DLC comes out next week. Then again on Sim City day.

BioWare and EA have announced two more bundles of DLC for Mass Effect 3, with one focused on multiplayer and the other serving as "one final, sentimental journey with Commander Shepard and their squad," according to the press release.

The first batch of content, "Reckoning," is a free bundle of multiplayer DLC that'll be available for free when it lands this Tuesday, February 26. The pack adds new characters, weapons and item upgrades for use in multiplayer, though what any of those things are specifically remains to be seen.

"Citadel," meanwhile, is Mass Effect 3's last chunk of single-player DLC, arriving on March 5 for $14.99/1200 MS Points. The pack returns Shepard and crew to (where else) the Citadel, on a mission that will give players the "opportunity to reconnect with some of their favorite characters from all three of the Mass Effect games." Well, provided you didn't get them horribly murdered, we figure. You know what you did.

I still haven't officially bought any DLC for this, holding out for a collector's edition or something during the Holidays.

Shit, I'm still waiting on one for Dragon Age II and that's looking less and less like a possibility.

I still have it. I just haven't been compelled to play it since I'm not doing a Mass Effect 1-3 run anytime soon.

So there's a Geth Juggernaut in the new multiplayer DLC. I might have to spend some time to unlock him and melee a brute to death.

It's a little late for me to just notices this BUT...

All FIVE of the Multiplayer DLC Packs are now available for download today on PSN (probably XBL as well but I'd need someone to verify) in one convenient bundle.

15 guns, 30 characters, 10 maps (the maps are given freely but you gotta "buy" or earn packs the hard way to unlock the guns and characters... still, it's free unless you drop real dough in the transactions screen), etc.

The last of the 5 packs, Reckoning, unlocks new characters to use like...

An EDI-bot.

A Geth Juggernaut like Pad previously shown.

A Talon Merc.

A Krogan Battlemaster.

A Cabal Vanguard (READ: Female Turian... more rare than Unobtainium)

And an "Awakened" Collector.

Craziness.

Well I just picked up the ME Collection and am making my way through the series all over again. Just took Saren down moments ago, so I'll be ready for some multiplayer again soon enough. Would rather make it through ME2 first though.

I started my ME3 journey last nite. I got the Prothean which is pretty damned cool and then was on my way to the Citidel to meet up with Miranda but stopped by the save some students in trouble. I met up with Jack...that is where I stopped.

Never knew that happened. Game is broken into like 5 or 6 parts was it? I guess once the mission triggers, it happens when you advance to the next part?

After saving the students I seem to be right into the Leviathan DLC. Seems like a terrible thing to leave out of the main story.
