The first podcast im hoping will be recorded on the 9th or 10th

I've DLed Skype but I need to get a mic to go with my laptop...

Trying to see if I can just run it on audio as I'm too cheap to spring for a camera.

You dont need a camera for the podcast... Do you have a rockband mic that you can plug into your computer?

I can't start until I get back to Los Angeles on the 8th. I'm curious to see if the vocoder microphone that came with my synthesizer would work.

If not, my MBP has a built-in one that is fairly solid. Also, I should be getting a nice condenser microphone for my birthday in February.

Im hoping to make an agenda and send it on out a couple hours before we begin so you guys know what we'll be discussing

I don't think we want to have an online chat party. I've never spoken to anyone from VSN, so that clearly isn't my goal.
