yeah i am 99% sure i got the recording figured out. couldnt connect with jay to test it though. i want to record a test from skype and then convert it into a mp3 for uploading to where ever its being hosted.

i DL audacity to record, then just had to make some changes in my sound card settings. Lucky for me i have another headset that has a line in and mic jack on it....the sound settings in the record option has a check box for line in (headphones in this case) and mic....so it will record my voice on the mic, then also whatever is coming thru my headphones.

everyone did a great job in this podcast though....technical difficulties=learning experience so its all good

Even though it didn't record I had a damn good time. I definitely look forward to doing it again and hope it becomes a regular thing.

yeah i had fun too. it went really well. it flowed nicely and i didnt realize it was an hour until we were done. al did a great job as host too

we just gotta test everything the next time. recording and uploading....that program al found is nice, but its $20. audacity was free and works fine...just gotta make sure it records the headphones as well as the mic

Yeah you guys aren't going to hammer it out effectively on the 1st shot. Even Joe Rogan's podcast has difficulties and it's going on 70+ shows now.

Props to all of you for keeping this a real thing and not just giving up. (like what we do with a lot of shit lol)

I could do it Sunday night after football. Monday-Wednesday around 7 because I leave at 9 for work. Thursday and Friday any time is good.
